Today, after 15 years of ATT internet I cancelled. My internet hasn’t been good for at least 6 months. Finally went out totally 2 weeks ago. I spent over an hour on the phone with 3 different technicians for them to tell me there was an outage in my area. It was down for 3 more days…came back up (off and on) for a few days. No help from support team online. It appears no one wants to deal with DSL customers but that is all that is offered out here. When I called and cancelled today she informed me I would be billed for a portion of this month…when I have had little to no internet service. So I will be paying for a partial month that I didn’t have service and then my cell phone bill will be extra due to using extra data on my phone because I had no internet. I am not a happy customer. While enquiring in my neighborhood it appears several have cancelled their ATT internet along with some friends that actually retired from the company. Time for someone to step up and repair this area or tell us why they don’t want to. And adjust bills for the folks that haven’t had service. I have no issues with my cell phone service so it appears ATT doesn’t want to deal with internet service. Please tell me I am wrong.
