Menifee Residential Internet Coverage

While residents of Menifee may not enjoy the direct access to the ocean like other cities, but they do get to endeavor in several options when choosing an internet provider.

Frontier Communications offers most residents throughout the area with high-speed fiber optics internet. This allows anyone to enjoy both upload and download speeds up to 100 Mbps. Residents in northern Romoland may not have access to these services.

Certain areas are also covered by Frontier Communications for traditional DSL internet services, with advertised speeds reaching up to 15 Mbps. However, this is limited and is primarily found near Quail Valley.

Time Warner Cable Spectrum provides cable internet to most of Menifee, though doesn't service the Sun City residents and some of those extending into the city center and Romoland. However, it does service western communities in Quail Valley to those in southern neighborhoods of Winchester. They currently offer download speeds up to 300 Mbps.

Communities in Sun City, southern Romoland and western downtown have access to Mediacom cable internet, which boasts download speeds up to 150 Mbps.

Lastly, HughesNet provides all neighborhoods with satellite internet, as long as a resident's roof has clear access to the southern sky. Residents may receive the advertised speeds up to 15 Mbps but could receive significantly less in speeds during bad weather.

This is by far the worst internet we have ever had. The speed is “right” so they refuse to fix anything but there is random buffering and slow connection all the time. Even when only one device is connected. They charge you to rent their router which is probably the cheapest router they can get away with and doesn’t reach the whole house. If you have any other options besides frontier I would highly recommend you use someone else. Horrible internet and they do not care about their customers at all. The ratings speak for themselves.

When we had Verizon FiOS, we were happy. The service was good, the price was what it was...not bad for what we got. Frontier takes over without our blessing and all my e-mail accounts were lost and the ones that weren't were inaccessible. I can only access my e-mail via the web, not on my phone, tablet or Outlook. My internet speed has declined and Frontier says, "it checks out"..My home phone can't be accessed without a code and tech support is clueless. We are stuck in a contract, I didn't sign one, with Frontier for another year...Of course I can pay an early termination fee... I will not renew with Frontier...

We have had TWC for many years. When the service is working it is acceptable. Howvever when there are outages and customer service is needed, it becomes a nightmare. The internet speed is fairy good.

For over five years, I have used Verizon for my phone and internet needs. I have been very pleased with the service. The price is reasonable and affordable, even now that my husband is out of work. Also, the speed is consistently fast. My daughter has completed her B.A. online with dependable internet service. What has really won me over to Verizon is their great service. They provide quick service for my needs and it is not hard to get in contact with a REAL person over the phone. They take responsibility for their mistakes and fix them quick. For instance, last month my internet unexpectedly crashed after the power was shut down for upkeep maintenance in the area. Verizon was out the next day to fix the problem. It was a faulty piece of equipment which the serviceman replaced free of charge. He even ensured that everything was functioning correctly on all of my devices before he left! I was relieved and grateful for the reliable, speedy service.
