Broadband Internet from Cable ONE

Cable ONE offers high speed internet service to 19 states in the southern, Midwestern, and western parts of the United States. Internet services from Cable ONE are carried via the company’s cable lines, which connect to businesses and residential units, including homes, condominiums, and apartments.

As with most cable internet connections, the consumer will need to rent / lease or purchase a special cable modem that will connect to the coaxial cable installed in the consumer’s residence or business and to the user’s computer.

Cable ONE’s broadband internet services are like most high speed internet connections, in that there is a difference in speed between data being sent from the internet to the user’s computer – called download or downstream speed – and data being sent from the user’s computer to the internet – called upload or upstream speed. As is typical, download speeds are greater than the upload speeds.
