Henderson Residential Internet Coverage

With its proximity to Las Vegas, Henderson has the advantage of being in many major internet service providers_ networks.

Those who want to experience the speed of fiber internet can choose Centurylink Prism, which brings coverage to much of Henderson. In the central area of the city, the network reaches Green Valley, McCullough Hills, Paradise Hills, and Black Mountain. The network extends to the northeastern side of Henderson in areas like Calico Ridge and Foothills. The CenturyLink DSL network is even larger than the fiber network, extending well into the southwestern neighborhoods of Anthem and Westgate.

Another major service provider in Henderson is Frontier Communications. This network is primarily located in the far eastern areas of Henderson, like River Mountain, Mission Hills, and Highland Hills. Service is not available west of Black Mountain, nor is it accessible in the northern parts of the city.

Do not recommend. First, you have to use their equipment. They will not help you with yours. If equipment is an issue for you and you don't want to pay to rent, trying to leave will be your next hurdle. I ended up needing to cancel my credit card to make the auto payments stop. I do not recommend. Customer service for the product and the admin back end are not good. I went to Cox and had a much better experience in my area.

I’ve been with cox nearly 40 yrs. They do have the fastest speed, yes they are expensive- and you don’t mind paying it when it’s good. Cox has a tendency to “ work in your area” during the night starting around 11 going usually to 6 sometimes later. I will be doing testing to see if slower speeds at certain hours are on them. This is my biggest gripe , cox tells you that u can go into your account page and disable your home from being a “ cox hotspot”. This is not true. Even working with their corporate office and walking me thru it - it was already marked “ disable” the gentleman tried to tell me the cox hotspot that kept showing on my WiFi list was from a neighbors modem. If this was correct why when I unplugged the modem the cox WiFi disappeared,? Also my neighbors have we link and century link. I had to go buy my own router and modem and of course they won’t help you when they have their work in your area. Plus after finding out cox makes money off of our electric us rebooting the modem it being housed in our homes, and don’t forget the rental they charge for using their modem by letting anyone buy time from them while jumping on their hotspots you are providing . I know they say it’s in the cloud and hackers can’t get on your WiFi- I’ve talked to a few computer geeks and they would beg to differ on this one. I did notice every device from computers to TVs got a so much clearer crisper picture with the equipment I bought to replace their modems- all their equipment is refurbished, being a customer for so long I’ve learned quite alot from their techs and their customer care experts. All in all- they still are the fastest.
