Customer service is often unavailable, speed is unreliable. Gigabit is usually more like 200m, if you're lucky. Speeds often dip below 50m, useless for any kind of important tasks.

This is what happens when there is no competition. Although Centurylink is in my city, they don't reach my address. I have zero choice but Cox. I have tested my internet speed daily for months, and it's WAY below 300mbps - many times I am around 5 Mbps. When I've complained to Cox, their answer is that my "historic" neighborhood has old cable lines that bottleneck and slow to a crawl every day. So why am I paying full price? $70 a month for what is basically dial-up speed. This is highway robbery. I work mostly from home, so I have no choice but to pay top price for what I am not getting.

I used this service and kept getting billed for 2 accounts at the same address. One for a prepaid plan and one for post paid plan, both with different account numbers. It took several months to get it straightened out. Customer Service is a joke and the service is extremely slow.

This is absolutely the worse experience I have had with an internet provider in my entire life. They quoted me a better price if I bundled and all they did was lied to me. This has been nothing but a nightmare. Every time I receive my bill has outrageous charges with services I never included. I spent an hour or two every time on the phone trying to fix my bill to what they offered since day one. They promise the issue is fix and then it happens again and again. Please be careful when they offer you a great deal because is all lies!! they are horrible, I am so frustrated and nobody seems to help me. I am posting this review so people do not go through this because once they get your business is over and they don't care. I am stuck now with something completely different to what they promise and they simply don't care. I GIVE CENTURY LINK A ZERO!!!! star review!!
