Columbus Residential Internet Coverage

The centrally located city of Columbus is served by many established internet service providers, from local companies to national providers.

Fiber internet is available through Centurylink Prism, which has a small fiber network in Columbus. Currently, the network is limited to the central part of the city in the neighborhoods of Southside, Downtown, Near East, and the McKinley Avenue Corridor.

Fiber internet, in addition to DSL, is provided by AT&T. AT&T has an expansive service area in Columbus, covering the entirety of the city and reaching well beyond its limits to suburban and rural parts of Ohio.

Customers in central and northern Columbus can access internet through CenturyLink, which also has a small area of coverage in the southern half of the state. In the north, neighborhoods in the CenturyLink service area include Upper Arlington, Clintonville, and Worthington. Service stretches through the central part of the city to South Side, Franklinton, and Bexley. The network extends to Tri-South and South Alum Creek.

Through Frontier Communications, those living on the outskirts of Columbus and in its surrounding communities can access high-speed internet.

Cable internet is provided by Time Warner Cable, which brings service to all of Columbus, including edge neighborhoods like Westland, Brice-Tussing, and Whitehall.

Yet another option to consider in Columbus is WOW! This internet service provider offers a network that reaches from Westland to Whitehall. Service reaches beyond the northern neighborhoods of Worthington and Northwest before reaching the southern areas of South Central Accord and South Alum Creek.

I had a great service technician in Tashawna. She took the time necessary to get me hooked up with both TV and internet and talked me through how to correctly access my channels. I was very appreciative of her time and knowledge.

Never again!!! In the process of trying to transfer lines they screwed me so bad and cost me money in the long run! My phone could not be used due to being locked with another company but in the process of finding that out they wiped my phone and changed the number without my permission!! Now I have no access to my contacts my email any of my prior apps years of pictures literally everything!!! And no answer to the problem!! Absolutely unacceptable not to mention customer service was horrible except Caleb I spoke with in Florida, he at least tried different options! Would get zero stars if able!!!
