I've had Time Warner Internet service for 12 years and now it's Spectrum. I've notices lately that the my connection is much slower than usual. The site where I pay my bill online for Spectrum does not work anymore. The instructions are to log into your normal site to pay your bill and pay it like you usually would. When you log onto the site you go through the steps like usual and two steps before being complete with your payment, the site kicks you off, and you have to log back in again. This happens every time that you try to pay your bill no matter how many times you try. What does that say about the internet provider, when their site to get your money doesn't even work. I've spoken to them about it and there is no change. I'm going to look for a new internet provider. I'm done with the hassle.

Time Warner couldn't find my order. Had three different reps give me totally contradictory info. In the end had one dept blaming the other. Manager wouldn't even take a complaint to fix the order. Cancelled Time warner. Don't use this service.

I signed up with Time Warner last year, at that time the price was ok. But I added a channel and they doubled the price of the package. So I closed out everything but my internet, turned in the equipment. But here's the icing on the cake I paid the bill for services I stopped and didn't get credit. And got another bill with late charges. So as of today they can have the rest of there equipment. And pray something better comes along

the cable is great no problems at all love it. The Internet has some issues at least once a day it goes out and i have to re-set it I've called several times had the router changed the first one sounded like something was loose in it still have to re-set it

Many files and documents are searched and downloaded without problems. Two of us are heavy users for school and professional work. Only one problem in 6+ years and TWC fixed it next day.

Time Warner Cable internet is reliable IF you buy your own high quality modem and router. Using their equipment will leave you with problems and a higher bill. Their prices are outrageously high compared to other providers I've had.

I have been with Time Warner on and off for over 10 years. They constantly raise the price every few months. I used to have all my services via TW but have cut or reduced them one by one until I'm now down to basic internet. And now they've raised that price by $10. For my location they are really my only dependable option so I'm stuck.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! They are rude, disrespectful, and nonchalant!!! I have had several negative experiences with the customer reps via online, phone, and in -person. They do not follow up with you when they say they will. The only thing they are consistent with is collecting money and reciting what they cannot do. All they care about is collecting money and not ensuring that their service is of high quality and certainly not solving customers' problems. What's worse is that they essentially have a monopoly (only one other horrible provider in the area) so they have no incentive to do better. All I can say is expect the worse from this company, they don't give a $&%^ about customer service or the quality of their product!

At first time warner cable was fantastic but, then I always saw hidden little fees on my bill. Also, as the promotion ended they just put me into something and ended up doubling my bill for the same services. In my honest opinion I think that they take advantage of their coverages by using it as leverage to charge whatever seems fit to them. I don't recommend at all anymore.

Customer Service is TERRIBLE. They delay your calls, placing you on hold for as long as 30 minutes. When you try to reduce your service, they tell you that your rates will NOT be reduced at all. they are unresponsive to you altering service Lousy company to to business with

I switched to Time warner to save money, all I needed was internet because I use Roku for TV. Unfortunately, I am unable to view many streaming channels because they do not contract with TWC Spectrum. I will be changing back to Frontier soon. I have also had my internet drop several times and my wireless printer does not always connect well.

There prices are to high . And there cable is out at least 3 times a month for hours at a time and there employes who come to the house to help check for problems leave wires hanging down and take your personal property (spliters, things that you own) .Seniors and disabled people are easy targets !

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Getting them to actually send someone out to fix high error rates on your data modem channels is like plucking teeth. They will bore and annoy you to tears with you need to "reset the modem" and "we'll optimize your channels from here" and everything they can do to resist sending the technician.. Better off usually learning how to crimp coax connectors and strip coax and go remove your own extra splitters and replace your own aging bent cable or improper crimped ends.... You'll be able to learn all that and get it done before you can ever get them to agree to send someone out.. and then they want to invent a reason to charge you when they never got the original install correct in the first place! Wow.. They make Frontier / Verizon look like they have top rate customer service practices... yet they are raising their rates at Spectrum? Are they out of their mind? See ya! Time to go back to FiOS because soon they will both be cost equitable at this rate.

I've been with Time Warner Cable for many, many years, I'm on a fixed income and they always, with only one exception, work with me on pricing. So yes I did go to another ISP for a couple of years, but once again Time Warner is working with me and I'm happy to be back.

While I did have some problems with TWC in the past, and in fact still don't like some of the miscellaneous fees and such, I feel compelled to leave a positive review at this point because the service has improved quite a bit. In my area at least, speed and reliability have really improved recently, so that I'm actually very happy with what I'm getting. Good job, TWC.

I have been a loyal customer with Time Warner, but lately their rates have increased dramatically. I mentioned to them that I needed to shop around for a better rate and service and. They never encouraged me not to! Of course I believe my call went to India, and the representative really couldn't understand what I was trying to say to him, wish I could of spoke to someone in the US! Not happy with outsourcing representatives in a another country!

Service was good when I started about a year ago. About six months ago, something happened and my service drops all the time. I work from here, so service interruptions can have big business consequences, particularly since my phone depends on wifi for connection (even though I'm right in town). Lately, they have been doing a lot of "scheduled maintenance" during the day. When I called and tweeted and asked - since it is scheduled, can't you let me know when you will do it so when I have a big online presentation I can go somewhere else? Nope, they can't. Nice. I may go back to AT&T. Their connection was slower, but at least it always worked.

Time warner cable does a decent job. Prices are reasonable. Service is good. and Customer service is not bad either. I wish I didn't have to bundle to get all the good prices though. Definitely don't need a house phone these days.

both internet and cable have not worked for months (ever since we moved into the new house). cable freezes at the same time the internet goes out, happens about once every 30 minutes. there are outages here in the area (garner nc) just about daily, time warner trucks all over the place and they don't seem to have a clue what's causing it, nothing ever improves. just about ready to drop all services and start again with someone else. last rep i spoke to on the phone just about encouraged me to leave, they aren't even offering any suggestions at this point.

My gated community provides in the Lease standard channels in the bedrooms and living room… We can only get cable due to all of the stonework and the amount of units in the complex… The problem is TWC's rates have tripled within the last year and a half. Even though I just want home Wi-Fi and rent their modem , they want you to have a bundle package or the price is through the roof.

Time Warner is inconsistent to say the least. I am always having to reset my modem. It takes 3 weeks to get someone to come out and tech support over the phone is a waste of time. If you can go anywhere else go.

TWC is terrible. Just awful. While I'm eager to move to an area with more choices, I'm stuck with TWC here. They're billing is impossible to decode leaving me to assume I'm overcharged and double charged, and then they justify those charges with nonsense explanations. They send people home with defective boxes and equipment and then provide iffy support at best. They credit you back for poor performance, then they make that up with charges that they can't explain. The billing is just bewildering. The due date is a movable thing that can change without explanation. Customer service is non-existent. This is horrible.

We've been paying for "fast" Internet speed but receiving mediocre speed. It's been a nightmare trying to hook up our Internet with high speed without losing the Internet all together on our laptops. That is why I'm using my android phone to search other Internet servers. I have no service on my laptop at this time.

Whenever I've had to deal with customer service for Time Warner they've been great. So, great customer service. The problem comes from needing to contact customer service so many times. In my previous apartment we had multiple issues with stability and connection and the excuse given was that we were too near other apartments and possibly microwaves. In a high rise. In Manhattan. This is not an excuse.

I am satisfied with Time Warner. Their customer service via phone has improved dramatically over the last decade. I have a local office to pay my bill and express any concerns, and last month the csr there actually let me know about a deal which ended up saving me money on my monthly bill.

I really have enjoyed Time Warner Cable inasmuch as there were very few problems with Internet going down, tv going down etc. What I do not like about them and some other cable companies is that they play the same stuff over and over and for the outrageous prices they charge they should at least include movie channels for free. Plus every year they raise their prices to just too much and that's why I have to cancel my plan with them. I need to find excellent connection speeds and wifi with low cost. Its out of control. Time Warner Cable has delivered exceptional service to me for the past four years. Outages have been rare. When an outage happened services was restored in under an hour. With the merger with Charter cable I hope the service stays as good

Pretty consistent speed and reliability in the four years I've been with this provider, even in different areas I have lived. Not very pleased with the annual price increase, however. At this point the service is good enough that I am willing to pay the cost, but that may change in the future.

If you have any other option, take it. Otherwise stand by to play the game with TW where they are continually trying to raise your bill, at least every six months. I cancelled my TV service and went to an antenna with Sling TV and I can't believe I waited so long to dump TW cable. Do it if you can!

We have awful wi-fi in our house. They said they mailed a modem to us three times. We've never received it. Trying to get it fixed, keep getting charged for things they did not do/send, and customer service is pathetic. So frustrated with them.

I love my TWC cable it offers very high speeds and aI rarely ever have any interuptions. The customer service rep are always bvery helpful when I call in to pay my bill or if I have any problem at all I drive to my local TWC shop where they are always very well staffed to handle several people at a time. When I first had the internet installed I switched from Verizon and the transition process was very very easy and the installation guy was very helpful and got the job done quickly. He was on time and very efficient in installing. Before he left he made sure every room had great wireless reception and if it didnt he would then adjust the signal so that room would get full bars.

Time Warner Cable was a nightmare. Their customer service is horrible. They overcharged me for something (which I thought I resolved) and then they had a creditor come after me for money I didn't owe. My credit tanked for a few months before I could get it all resolved and get the case closed with the creditor (they decided in my favor). I thought it was all taken care of when I received another notice from a different creditor. I had to go through the process all over again, and again the creditor sided with me and closed my case. I then had to spend more than two hours on the phone with TWC to get to the bottom of why they continued having creditors try to collect the money. They bounced me around from person to person, department to department before I finally got to the bottom of it. The entire experience was miserable and TWC never did anything to make up for it. I even warned them I was going to cancel the service because of the experience and no action was taken. You would think they would have done something to try and keep me as a customer, but nothing. I canceled and am now a happy AT&T U-verse customer.

I switched to time warner because they offered faster service than AT&T. It offers good stability for most of my devices we can do multiple things at once without it disconnecting many of the connections. That part of my internet is great and they get an automatic 3 stars in the speed and overall department because of that. The downfall and why they haven't earned more stars are in the following areas. They have poor customer service, usually outsourced to foreign people who usually give you a routine of how to powercycle and so forth before they finally send someone to your house AGAIN to fix the lines. I think there are a lot of poor lines in this area. Sometimes, there are short blackouts, but usually it has been fixed within 24 hours so I'm not going to deduct from their overall score.

In the past, Time Warner was actually good. The cable rarely went out and if the internet went out, it would be back in at least an hour. Now, the internet works whenever it feels like it. For the past week or two, the internet will drop for no reason. Oh, they say its an "outage" but when it happens every day or every other day, two to three hours a day, or one time at least eight times before the evening hours, it becomes more obvious that whose ever in charge either doesn't care for customer service or has no idea who to hire to keep services up. To make manners worse, good luck getting a good video stream for any site not named YouTube and Netflix. Add in terrible customer service and dozens of reports from many customers on their billing issues?

My internet is interrupted several times a week and I have to reset the modem to get it to work properly. When I call for service there are three levels of "expert" that you have to go through to get to the person who really can identify the problem. The trouble is that most people do not know that the first person they speak with has very little knowledge about internet. The second level is better but it's best if you just request a level three rep right form the start. It will save you at least 20 minutes on the phone.

Bureaucratic and unresponsive service. Had to drive to a store in Lake Geneva just to change billing address. They did not make the change in their system and stopped sending bills. Only found out when I called to inquire why I had not received a bill in two months. Told that service was about to be cut off and I need to make an electronic payment but the system was down so I could not see how much I really owed. The Wisc DMV does a better job of customer service. If there were another provider in this area, I'd drop Time-Warner in a minute.

This company is a monopoly here in Erie Pa with the only service that has unlimited monthly data usage and has good speed. But their customer service is really bad. I even visited the local store and got a business card from a Rep there. I tried to email him as he told me to and found his email was not working. Then called on the phone and got someone who could not understand or refused to get me to the Rep at the local store. What a huge waste of time. Finally he mistakenly transferred me to someone in Technical Support who was helpful and nice. He said he messaged that Rep but I still have not heard back from them. They constantly raise your rates until your paying an arm and a leg because they know they have no competition here. Another service at a different location was dropping out and had to have the modem reset all the time. I was told to replace my modem and did at my expense but it didn't solve a thing. Thankfully that seems to have been resolved after a month or so of putting up with it. That by the way is with the original modem back online. Can't wait for a competitor to come up with a challenge to this monopoly.

I am currently looking for a new internet provider. The fees Time Warner charges are outrageous and make it unaffordable for people like me who are on a limited income. Companies such as Time Warner should not have control over who can provide service to our areas and charge us an outrageous price.

Over the years I have found TWC to be extremely difficult to deal with. Since the digital converse in our area they upped the game to not only poor customer service but poor value as well. On the positive side since eliminating most of my channels during the conversion (unless I buy a much more expensive digital package) they've forced a change in my viewing habits. New services like Sling TV need only a decent data package, a computer and a Roku. I think TWC had underestimated their move in terms of customer behavior, and new technology adoption. As one of their customer agents told me - go somewhere else if you don't like our offer. Ok.

As a long-time Time Warner customer, I was thrilled when higher speed internet service became available. At the same time, I found out that I had been paying TWC to rent an outdated modem for a decade! A representative confirmed what modem I should purchase to improve speed, yet when I upgrade speed, I was told that the modem was incompatible. So, I had to purchase yet another. The price for internet (I don't have TV or landline) is almost twice the advertised rate, so I'm shocked by the low intro price advertised. I have never received more than a small discount for "upgrading" service. My service does not include the bells and whistles advertised on the TWC site for my zipped either. I've attempted several times to discuss price with TWC, but each time, after multiple transfers and "hold" sessions exceeding an hour, have been disconnected. If I had a choice of high speed providers in my area, I would jump ship in a New York minute!

Unfortunately for the past couple months ( I've only had TW for less than a year) my internet speeds have been extremely slow and I pay for the highest speed. It also cuts out repeatedly throughout the day. They have been out here a few times and have not yet fixed the problem and tried to say maybe we are using to many things at once. This is not true because when my kids are at school and it's just me home, the internet does the same thing. I think they dont know how to fix it and are trying to come up with excuses for themselves!

I was about to make a change because Time Warner was out of touch with the market. Their service was terrible, their rates too high and the speed was lacking. Then Google came to town and forced Time Warner to change their ways. They upgraded their offering in terms of speed, dropped their rates and improved their service. I've decided to stay with Time Warner for now due to these improvements.

Times Warner cable is good internet but the price is never a set and stable bill. My bill always varies and my family and I use the wifi for the same things every day we don't buy anything and yet the price varies for some reason so I want to switch to someone else. Does anyone have any advice on where I should go? Please let me know!!!!

A fast internet provider when they're service is operational.... Time Warner seems to frequently have late-night internet service outages in my area.

Time Warner Cable is one of the few providers of internet in my area. This is unfortunate because it leaves consumers without many options for the service. I have been unhappy with Time Warner Cable for quite some time. They are going to increase rates again as well as the "modem lease fee," something they do with fair frequency. They have service issues regularly enough (slow net or outages) but they are nearly impossible to get credits from even when you do not receive service. for extended periods. Their only redeeming quality is that they are the only reliable choice for high speed internet in my area so if I want that service I have no choice but to pay for Time Warner. The moment another reliable option establishes a presence in my area is the day I switch to another provider.

If you enjoy billing issues and being treated like a four year old then TWC is for you. Signed up for autopay two months ago and we still are getting late fees. This is the second time in as many months that TWC refuses to take my autopay until its late, then automatically takes it out anyway three days after due date incurring thirty five in fees and asking for two months of payments. When contacting TWC they will ALWAYS pass the buck to a higher up who may or may not get back to you in a timely manner. There are MANY ISPs out there. This one just doesn't get it.

The representative that assisted us made us feel that the switch from AT&T U-verse to TWC would be best in service, technology and price. This is false in all three aspects. The technology needed to attain the level of service discussed not only cost more, which was not previously noted, but most of the channels were not HD compatible. I pay extra for HD services, had to pay for a additional HD box and not all channels are HD compatible.

I have been absolutely fed up with the outages with Time Warner. I can't tell you how many times the internet has just completely gone out for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. I've spent so many hours on the phone with their customer support that I dread having to call them yet again every time my internet is out. When it's working, it is very fast if I'm hard-wired to the modem. The wi-fi performance drops off considerably. If I'm sitting right next to the modem, it's about half the speed of the wired connection. If I'm in another room, it's much, much worse. I wish there were another provider in the area that offered anywhere near those speeds. We had Verizon FIOS at our old place and never had any problems.

The price keeps going up and it is very hard to change plans once you are receiving service. When you call them every change you want to make requires a new person to communicate with, so, you have to state your problem all over again, then to be transferred to someone else because this person doesn't deal with your problem! It is frustrating to the point of ridiculousness!

Service has been pretty good, the internet is normally fast, taking a couple of seconds for things to load up. There's about three or four different devices that use the internet at the same time in our household, and it tends to slow down, or completely give up because of all the electronics connected wirelessly to the internet.

I've had TWC for about a year now, and if I could describe them in one word it would be MEDIOCRE. I've got their "Turbo" upgrade which is supposed to feed me a 20+ mbps connection. Unfortunately I get that speed about a third of the time. Sometimes the speed will be half, or even less (I just did a speed test and have got only three mpbs). Overall somewhat disappointed, however I have dealt with worse internet service providers. I can't wait till Google Fiber comes along and kicks all these sorry internet companies out of business.

Had time warner cable for about 3 years. I started with 15 mbs dl and 1 mbs upload but I couldnt remote play my ps4 had to upgrade to 30 mbs just to get 5mbs upload to be able to remote play.

I shared my Xfinity internet and cable TV with a former roomate. When the service rep came out he was super! He spent extra time to make sure out service was the highest speed possible for our area. But once he was gone, the problems started. I live upstairs while my roomie lived in the basement. The account was actually in his name. It seemed everytime something was coming on tv that either one of us wanted to watch something would happen! The net service also started out great but off and on neither of us could connect. I used to run cable years ago in Tennessee so I know the difference in a bad connection somewhere and when it's the provider's fault....which it always was. Alot of buffering also. Too bad in most areas the cable/net has a monopoly on services.

Page loading is just as slow as it was before upgrading; hike in service plan was unexpected and is costly; internet is down sometimes during evening/overnight hours which is when I'm mainly online. However the 611 automated/customer service line is super convenient but only works when service is on (which is no help during thunderstorms).

My family and I just moved to California. We are staying with family. For the last four months the internet has had more problems then I can count. I'm home schooling my children and its not going well because it says we have WiFi but nothing happens. More times we have to pack up and go down to the library and work. The near by library is almost just as bad. My husband can't run our business from home because of the lack of internet service we had been getting. Workers have come out and supposlly fix the problem. Sorry but I'm not a fan.

We have been a long term customer of Time Warner, mostly due to the only internet service in our area. Our internet service is very slow and for the past several months we cannot get our internet to stay connected. We were told it was the router, and they sent another one out, but it was still no better. After calling daily for weeks now about it, we are finally going to get a service person to come out and actually look to see what the problem is. The customer service over the phone is always pleasant, but to actually get someone to the house is absolutely ridiculous! I hope you have other service providers to choose from, so you are not forced to use Time Warner! Would not recommend to anyone.

Customer service is very frustrating. It is hard to get a strait answer with out constantly getting transferred and having to start ll over with your personal information and requests. I was transferred four different times and each time I was given a different price for the same internet service. They have fast internet but it is expensive.

The router provided by Time Warner made our internet sluggish and when I bought my own router to use it was a big increase in speed. On top of that, it took nearly a month after signing up for them to send a technician and to actually have the services up and running. Then after all of that they attempted to charge for all the downtime. Now, the speed is decent, I don't have many other options for speeds I need in my area so the price fits out of need, and the service is okay and has only had interruptions twice in nearly eight months.

time warner cables service is about the only thing the whole company has that has the ability to remain consistent, honest, on time and your digital cable & intenet connection always know that your right so you wouldn't ever have to deal w/ them asking you why you are or aren't doing a certain thing or telling you that they are "sorry to hear that kind of situation" or "totally understand where your coming from, it would just take me having to go find a manger to finish this for you, so best advice she gave me was go home, live w/ what I had purchased or disreguard the fact that when doing business w/ one of the worlds top companies. Courteous customer service & willingness to go the extra mile to MAKE SURE & BE WITHOUT REASON to be upset or frustrated and having the customer happy w/ his experiend, wouldn't have to be forced out of them or reminding them eveyrday that the extra mile isn't required of them to have to stay somewhere kinda sorta fancy but original/uniquel if TWC would allow small business owners who work from home to open a business account w/ much much faster high speed internet, I would be an EXTREMELEY obliged and happy customer thats for sure! Botttom line: Keep looking but have TWC as your last resort backup option....

We experience considerable fluctuations in speed for no obvious reason. There have been numerous times recently where the download speed has dropped to below three mbps. We are supposed to get ten bps. There have been other times when the speed has been closer to fifteen mbps. It rarely goes down completely. I don't particularly like the speed fluctuations but over all I am satisfied.

Time Warner Cable is the only option for DSL in my area, therefore unless we want to do without high speed internet, they are the company that we have to go to. I think the price of internet is too expensive. I think that TWC has terrible customer service. I have never spoken with a person in their customer service department that made me feel confident in their abilities or in the abilities of the company. And lastly, and somewhat most importantly, the speed and ability of our wifi (even though we have the newest and best router that they offer) is terrible. Even being in the same room as the router doesn't help.

I have been having a very bad experience with TWC. Initially they offer internet with 30 channels or so for $X then after 1 year they said i can just pay a little more for increased speed and rates went upto 1.5 times X then 1 year later they said my offer time is expired and the rate went upto 2 times X then couple of months later they have started charging extra for the modem which I didnt notice for a long time and now they have increased the rates by another 5 dollars for basic internet and 10 basic channels. This is a RIp-Off. I hate their customer service.

My internet goes out frequently. I have had the equipment changed three or four times in the past few years, hoping the problem would get resolved. When it's working, the speed is fine and the price is OK, but the inconvenience of losing service so often is not fine at all.

The company has horrible customer service. My husband died in December 2014 and I wanted to tranfer the accout to my name. I had to go to the office in person & provide a Death certificate. The service people acted like they did not know what they were doing. It took over and hour to do this process. When I received my first bill in "my name" the "Current Monthly Service" amount was wrong. I called about it. They said they would get it fixed by the next billing cycle. Next bill still wrong and they wanted to change me late fees. Finally they came up with an amount that was lower but it was not the same amount we had paid before. They took the opportunity of the Death of my Husband to increase the bill. VERRY BAD. I am looking to replace this company. If anyone reading this knows of a different company just let me know.

At the end of our initial promotional rate, TWC voluntarily sent a letter requesting us to remain with them until Feb. next year by offering us a new and acceptable promo rate. After one month they jacked our bill up by one third more. I spent over two hours on the phone with their "customer no-service" agents and no one could explain the increase or even correct the issue. I was promised a call from complaint escalations but I never received that call...... Avoid TWC at all costs! There is no customer support with the ability to do anything but sell you more products. When you call they will try to wear you down into submission and even try to blame you for any false charges. They have not learned anything about providing better customer service, even after the Comcast/TWC merge was denied based on their poor track record. It's like buying a new shiny car that the dealer refuses to warranty....and charges you more than you agreed on! If they haven't taken you yet as a customer, they will. So watch out!

Time warner cable is the worst. They over charge you. I have lost Internet since my neighbor got it about two months ago. I called them over and over again asking a tech to come out. I'm assuming when the tech installing my neighbors Internet unplugged my cord on accident. The day they got the Internet mine went out. They refuse to send a tech out saying there's simply an outage in my area! For two months! My neighbors use twc and they have no problems with their connection. The customer service is a joke. They read off a list of potential problems until you hang up.

Internet speed is good with occasional slowdowns around peak times. I have witness on more than a few occasions that they throttle back on Netflix and the video distorts or switches to a lower video quality. I can stream Amazon Prime without issue. So it is either Netflix or throttling the internet speed. The pricing is ok but speed needs to pickup in my area to make the cost seem worth it. It used to be that you had to call and haggle every three months but now they lock you in for a year. When your contract expires the rates increase quickly so keep an eye on your bill.

I switched my internet service from a Verizon WIFI (basically a cell phone connection) to the high speed internet that Time Warner offers. I bought my own top end modem/router as suggested by TW. This saves a monthly fee also. The speed is instant every thing ( was ten seconds to get into gmail now its one second) etc. etc.The frustration days of always have to reboot the laptop and redial the wifi stopped the moment I connected to TW. I read that there might be a need to perform an occasional reset on the modem. This has not happened. We just had two scifi intense electrical storms. My new system never foundered. I surfed through three hours of intense electrical storm w/o a glitch. My only regret is not switching over sooner. Monthly spend cut in half / frustration cut to zero. Get off that phone number dropping cell tower and get on TWHS internet. You WILL NOT regret this move....dave

Overall it's the fastest service you can get in the area, and during it's promotional pricing, it's also the best price. The up-time is generally pretty good. For a while I was consistently getting my service drop around midnight to two in the morning. The frustrating part of it all was, every time I called Timewarner to report the incidents, their customer service was not answering and providing tech service until the next day. And because they said there was no record of me calling in every time my service dropped, that they wouldn't get me any credit. Usually if nobody was working during the time, you would expect to get an automated answer, but it wouldn't even goto that. Good luck to this business when Google fiber comes to Charlotte.

All in all I do enjoy my internet provider, but there are times when my connection turns off and it can take hours to get it fixed. At times the speed is slow then I lose my connection but on a small island I dont have much to choose from when it come to internet providers.

Let me first start out by saying I live next to the TWC hub and I have very little resistance in my cable. The installation went fairly well, a representative routed brand new cable then I had new cable buried in the yard due to the fact that the old cable was very old and worn. I give the service of the field representative five stars. I pay for the Ultimate package. Even later in the evening and early mornings I've checked my speeds and I rarely get half that. That's half of what I should be getting during low traffic hours. I'm actually sick of this monopolized overpriced internet and cable industry as TWC is the only company that offers more than twenty Mbps. I wish fiber optic was available in my area. It's horrible that we're paying top dollar for a dated service.

I like time Warner because their cable is usually pretty fast, as long as you pay extra for the turbo. It is very expensive however, and it's upsetting because there aren't many options in my area.

The goes up price without them telling you. Tech support is fine. But if you call with and say my credit card was stolen and i need to update my payment, you will be on hold they will charge you a fee for not returning the boxes when you missed that one payment. They will charge you for a late fee and it will take you 3hrs

i put my order in for just the internet. i don't get paid til the third of every month i was told when i opened my account that i my bill date would be the third of every month if i set up on the third. thats what i did but my bill is due on the twenty first instead now instead of paying twenty-one dollars and fifty-three cents a month i get charged a late fee (because they refuse to change my due date) to were i pat thirty-two dollars and sixty-three cents instead if not more. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

We are very unhappy with our current service and will be switching to a new provider. AVOID! Time Warner Cable recently raised our rates for both the base service and the cable modem rental, but the service reliability has disintegrated significantly in the past month. We have regular Internet outages based on DNS servers being unreachable and/or extensive (multi-second!) delay in hops between internal TWC routers in tracert, and they just disabled - without warning - an outbound email-relaying service which had been working with no problems for over a decade. I've been on the phone for hours with their Tier III TAC with no resolution.

Terrible Speed. Awful customer service. High prices. In December 2014, attempted to replace old modem with new DOCSIS Three modem. purchased three off of TWC's supposedly "approved" list, none of which worked, even with repeated tech calls and visits. after taking all three back, finally gave in to the mafia-style rental policy and rented the UBEE DOCSIS Three from TWC and upgraded to the "fifty" Mbps package. Starting a month ago, speed problems. Instead of fifty, get five. Or even less than one some times. garbage. Calls have given same attempted fixes which I know don't work as they have already been tried.

Time warner sucks and all the internet providers in my zipcode have super high prices to go along with not the greatest service. I need to get rid of time warner by next week, I hate them. I think I'm going to put rabbit ears on my house and get Karma for my internet. I don't know whst else to do. I hope Google internet shows up so I can get that.

Speed is fine. Constant attempts to raise prices are a drag. But the real problem is constant "unexpected" outages. It goes out at least a few times each evening. And every time its "unexpected" and "we have a technician working on it." Why cant they finally fix it after four years? I have been reluctant to switch but over the last week I have had constant outages. Really what does it take for them to just provide the service I am paying them for? Their explanation that solar flares are to blame really do not work at eleven pm. They really should tell their service people that its dark when its eleven pm in the US (not sure where their service people are located to even try to feed us this explanation). So here you go. If you have other choices in your area, why get yourself a headache instead of Internet?

The ONLY reason I have TWC is because i have no other choice. There is also Verizon in my location but both of theses providers offer horrible speed and even worse service. I have to call everyday basically to find out that they are having outage or just downtime and they are not sure when it's going to be up. Im so Looking for RCN or Verizon Fios to other companies to come to the location so I don't have such troubles.

We have had Time Warner (this time) for a year and a half. We had been Time Warner customers for over six years previously but switched to ATT and were very unhappy with service, speed of internet and deceitful pricing. So, we switched back to Time Warner in September twenty thirteen and have been happy with internet speed, customer service but pricing could be a bit lower in my opinion.

I have been in this apartment in zip code 28273, Basically its very intermittent. i spend a lot of time with customer service and i have signal loss almost every other day in the 4months so far. I have to reset modem, remove the cable from wall and switch on/off modem and then works as long it works it works fine. but the signal loss and the problem that i have to do this steps again again is very irritating. i had many calls with customer services , they ask me to the same steps and it works. and now i stopped calling and i just do it. never had that issue. i was with optimum in CT and comcast in california did not have issues and more over thirtynineis expensive where in CT optimum for thirty mbps i used to just pay thirty and here for fifteen mpbs TWC charges thirtynine MONOPOLY i believe.

Overall, Time Warner Cable is a decent provider, however, there are times when my internet is moving very slow. Usually during "hot" times like mid afternoon when there are a lot of people on the internet. I also notice that uploading certain things can take a loooooong time and for the price I pay a month this shouldn't be an issue, ever. They are good with any issues that I have and take care of them almost right away. And even during crazy weather days my internet is still connected and working.

I currently have a Turbo internet which gives me a great download speed compared to DSL. I get the speed that I am paying for so I have no problem with it. I am also very satisfied with their customer service. My problem comes when all of our wireless devices are connected because my Direct TV wireless receiver tells me that it is not connected to the internet. I guess this is a problem with the DirectTV receiver. It probably requires a certain speed dedicated to it. In short, I wish Time Warner Cable could lower the price on their Extreme or Ultimate internet service plans for existing customers. I am sure it will solve the problem with my DirectTV receiver if I have the speed of Extreme or Ultimate internet plans. Yes, I will recommend Time Warner Cable's internet service to all my friends.

time warner is a good provider cant take anything away from them, but they do nothing for their customers that have been with them. there prices are already too too much and when they have a special it is only for new customers. I have been with them for years and only wanted to change my internet box to wireless and they want to charge me additional fee for this. But if I was a new customer it would be no extra charge.

They have a decent high-speed internet but can't seem to get it to together. Took three and half weeks for them to set it up. They sent out the wrong type of technician twice. When they did set it up, they couldn't finish setting it up all the way (that's after being here five hours Lastly never got the service that I've signed up for. I signed up for ultimate extreme and wasn't even getting half of that.

In Los Angeles, we don't have very many choices for internet providers. It's basically either AT&T or Time Warner. Well, thank God for Time Warner because AT&T is an absolute nightmare. I waited 8 weeks before they finally figured out what was wrong with the wiring for my house, and that it was their fault. Time warner had me up and running 24 hours after I called them. Speed is great. Easy to get ahold of. Very fair pricing!

Overall I find Time Warner Cable to be reliable. Every company is going to have its ups and downs so keeping this in mind has my overall rating for Time Warner Cable to be above average. I give them an excellent rating when it comes to installation which in my eyes is second to none. When your fast installation is completed they have quality service follow up and make sure everything was done right and that you are happy with the work.

Internet speed is very reliable and fast but I feel I am being overcharged as the tv channels are just average. I would be getting the same channels with cablevision or another vendor. I only have one tablet connected to my WiFi which enables me to get the maximum speed.

I was reluctant to change carriers but I'd moved to a location with very few Internet providers. Time Warner had an attractive intro rate, a variety of speed options, and a home phone add-on for a great price, so I went with them. Sign-up was easy (online) but several complications ensued regarding installation. When I took my problems to the local office, however, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter a service rep who personally took ownership of my concerns and made as many phone calls as necessary to get the SNAFUs corrected and my service connected. I have a supposedly high-speed connection, but my Internet speeds leave much to be desired. I don't blame Time Warner, however; evidently my metro area in general is among the slowest in connection speeds (poor us). I have been happy with my choice of Time Warner. I have not had to call them with any problems regarding service or billing since I got connected seven months ago. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others or to sign up with them again myself.

Time Warner Cable is a unremarkable, yet reliable provider. The reliability is the key point because the network for the most part is up. If it happens to go down, it can take days to weeks to get a repair, but luckily this doesn't happen too often. The biggest draw back is price point. The service levels tend to be more expensive than they need to be, and their technical and customer assistance people double as sales people and will try to upgrade you. Many of these people have no idea what bandwidth is or how it is used and use buzz words and misinformation they get from meetings (or just plain make up) to try and upgrade customers that do not need it. Because reliable, high speed internet is kind of a utility in this modern time, it is horrible that companies get monopolies in areas, but for the only real option, it is okay.

I love the speed provided by TWC internet services, however it is known to go out during bad weather or will require you to call tech support to have the signal refreshed. I have basic internet with an added option of wifi for my wireless decvices but the price is really outrageous. I'm paying the same price I paid for cable and internet in Alabama on just internet with TWC, currently looking for a better service for my household.

First off, my internet service is not reliable it cuts out randomly which is very annoying not only that but only can get half of the speed I pay for, and unacceptable considering its prices are more expensive than a more reliable service such as Wind Stream. I have had both of these providers and would go back to wind stream in a heart beat if they were in the area I live in now. The only respectable thing about Time Warner is its customer service. Other than that its just over priced for a choppy unreliable internet connection.

Time Warner Cable is the only option available for high speed internet in my area. The internet cuts off periodically when we get too close to the maximum download threshold. The customer service people are responsive but not quick to fix the problem as much as they are quick to answer questions and try to upgrade us.

Time warner is really not only the best option in our area, its the only option. We game, and need to be able to run high speed internet so there is no lag. As well as allowing other people to use their laptops while we game without interference. Love Time warner for allowing us to do this, looking forward to FIBER OPTIC!

I have been an Insight customer for many years. Time Warner just bought them out so now I am a Time Warner customer. I have cable and internet. I don't think that anything can hold a candle to the speed of cable internet, however I do have a problem. Every few nights, everything I connect wifi will disconnect and I have to unplug my modem and router for five minutes, and then reconnect. It is pretty annoying, especially when I need to look something up before work and the internet isn't working. Overall though, the internet is fast and I can connect multiple devices and still get a great speed.

When it comes right down to it, what most people want is dependable internet speeds at a decent price and someone there to fix it fast should it go down. Few care about whether they get email accounts or McAfee or Norton internet security; they just want internet that works. From numerous tests we have seen, Time Warner Cable is capable of consistently delivering high Mbps. This is fast enough for most people to do the things they want to do online – things like streaming movies and music, watching video, checking social network accounts and shopping online.

I pay for higher speeds and anytime I run a test it is usually more around half of the speed which is a lot cheaper of a play so I am paying for speed which I do not get. This service is definitely not recommended for online gaming as I experience constant lag.

The good thing about Time Warner Cable is that their advertised internet speeds are accurate. I frequently test my internet connection, and I get download and upload speeds equal to or more than what I pay for. However, as with many internet providers, you must keep an eye on your bill because they will sneakily increase what they charge you until you call them out. Customer Service is difficult to reach. Great customer service, but only if you have the patience to call enough times, be transferred enough times. Why can't they just list the correct phone number on their bill and/ or web site. I am satisfied with their internet and tv services, but the increasing prices are not acceptable to me. It's time for a change.

Time Warner as a whole is efficient . Biggest complaint I have had with them since having their service is solving issues with phone support. Much better to have them come on property to fix! With six different cable Internet packages available, Time Warner Cable should appeal to just about everyone, whether you use the Internet occasionally or spend your entire day online. When you sign up for some of Time Warner Cable's Internet plans, excluding the Lite and Basic plans, you also get free access to several TWC Wi-Fi hotspots for connecting to the Internet on the go. This is a great bonus that is especially useful for those times when you are away from your home network and require a secure connection to the Internet. It might not be a deciding factor to choose Time Warner over the competition, but it's a nice perk to have.

TWC is the most used for cable/internet/phone (in my area) They do try to help you when u call with an issue but there are a lot of different numbers so you never know what one to call. We gave had Time Warner for several years and we were happy with them. But now we have had a lot of problems with losing our connection. It happens everyday and all we get told is to unplug the modem and router to reset the system. This should not have to be done on a daily basis. Why can't they fix the problems?

Time Warner has a fairly decent price and it gets the job done, however the speed isn't too amazing and their customer service could be improved. My cable that provides internet for my home is still above ground in my backyard after the last time they were here. Called for the tech to come put it back in the ground where it used to be, and still nothing. Do not know if it is "fine" to be above ground, but it is unsightly and a constant hazard when it comes to lawn care and my feisty dog.

The service is good when it is going but the equipment they provide is near worthless. The Ubee modem they provide is horrible. It drops wireless signals frequently and they charge a sizable amount a month for rental of the modem as well. The service is constantly interrupted by factors "unknown to Time Warner Cable."

i expected more from such a large, well renowned company. I had to reset my modem on numerous occasions. i only had two devices running at any given time with "turbo" internet and still ran into buffering on you tube and netflix, which made streaming just too much of a bother. as for the cable service, the tv on demand was not regularly updated and the system was slow. i had to reset my dvr in order to update the list ninety percent of the time.

I signed up for the most basic service and so far I am happy with if. When I went to their location to sign up they tried to tell me that it would not work with wifi because they wanted me to upgrade to the next level which I think is a little bit more per month but I opted not to and the wifi works just fine. So for the (current) price and for the quality I am satisfied for now. The only thing I don't like is that after a year the price keeps going up and up so it would make more sense to go with another provider like Verizon because for the money verizon is better.

If we have an outage and we ask their advice they give a courtesy call back withing twenty four hours to see if we have resolved the issue or need a tech to come out. I have try several different internet companies and I found Time Warner to be the best fit for me over ATT and DISH. When I comparing Time Warner to ATT, I found Time Warners rates stay the same there where not any surprises on my bill unlike ATT and no matter how often I try I could never log into my ATT account online, I would change my password over and over again but still my ATT online account never worked and to me Time Warners internet service is faster than ATT. When I compare Time Warner to DISH, well hands down to Time Warner in a storm, I never lost my signal unlike DISH, a little rain and it was all internet pain. I am over all happy with Time Warners internet service.

Service is very slow, and when running a speed test we get half the speed that we are paying for. Multiple times a month we have to reboot our router as it just stops working. We have the newest router that they offer, and still our speed is very slow. The only bright spot is their phone customer service is top notch. The employees are always very helpful, and if they don't have the answer are generally very willing to find it for you. The store employees are another story. Usually rude, and unknowing of their products. Wait times are also around 45 minutes to an hour!

With the exception of rate hikes for established customers, my Brighthouse/ time warner service has been very reliable both with my internet and phone service bundle. Bad weather doesn't bother it either. It has never gone down for more than one hour, one time in three years. That's saying something. Just wish the price didn't go up TEN% each year, doesn't seem reasonable.

Time Warner is the exclusive provider in my area in NYC. Pro: Internet is as advertised so far. Only occasional short down time. Price is only okay, could be cheaper. However due to the exclusiveness they are not pressed to lower price. Cons: Anything you want to get done in the store is a hassle through dozens of people waiting. In my service area, Time Warner Cable offers Internet packages with speeds that greatly outperform its only other competitor, AT&T. However, all comparisons aside, the product leaves me wholly unsatisfied. My average download speed is not sufficient to stream any HD media content, and my data connection is rarely stable. Hoping and praying for Google Fiber to come to town!

My internet speed is decent. I have a mid range level which works because I just use it for internet surfing and a small amount of online game playing. There are certain times in the day when it lags a little, but overall I'm content. I rarely have an outage, and when I have a problem TWC is pretty easy to get a hold of. My largest complaint is the price of course. For what I have it really should cost about half the price.

I am relocating from NY to SC. In my current area, time Warner cable and verizon are the main providers. Time Warner provided great high speed cable. They had great introductory rates, but greatly increased after the first 12 months. I did like that you didn't have to sign a contract. That for me (as a renter) was huge!

I enjoy the service I have received from Time Warner. They keep me breasted on technical issues and I receive update information. My one critique would be I wish the service was slightly faster. We have used Time Warner Cable for several years, minus a few months that we switched to another provider, thinking the cost would be less. What we discovered is that Time Warner Cable is really the best provider for the money. We have at least 5 devices connected to our wifi connection at any one time. With the other provider, the connection was very slow and unreliable. With TWC, the wifi strength is always the same. Cost is a little higher than the other provider - but I would pay that for more reliability. On the down size, timeliness of repair is not what it should be. All in all, though, we are happy with TWC.

I paid for to have my internet installed but the guy just put a splitter on my cable wire and the strength and signal was weak. Had to have another tech come and repair the service. Also, I upgraded speeds and I really haven't seen any difference. Not really any other choices where I live.

The service itself isn't bad but once you get past the introductory price the cost per month is WAY too high! If you need tech support they ARE very helpful, though.

Timer warner internet works great but they do have instances when the internet runs slower or does not pick up a signal. The pricing is alright and customer service is pretty great.

My internet is ok, but they want to charge so much for an upgrade. The wifi stinks. My service is bundled in with the cable and a home phone that we barely use. All in all, I wish we had cheaper rates.

Time warner provides fast internet service and the price is reasonable and they usually do a good job coming out and fixing our problems as well. My issue with them is that there are times the internet just stops and usually takes about 10 to 30 minutes to start working again.

The internet is what you pay for. I have the cheaper package and the internet is really slow. If you try to connect more than one device then you really start to have issue, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Time Warner Cable offers multiple internet packages and prices. i have the lowest price package with wireless internet and wifi and speeds depending on your needs. when you get the wifi, you can run a limitless number of electronics on the wifi. it is very reliable. I have never experienced being "dropped" while using it, although it is slow at times. but to remedy that problem, they do offer insanely fast internet. Time Warner is excellent about taking care of any problems you may have with your internet. i always ask to speak to a supervisor and when you explain the problem you have, they take care of it and sometimes offer a discount or a credit to your account.

I have found Time Warner Cable to be the best in our area. I find that they are pretty expensive but there is not many other choices locally. Their cable speed is acceptable and their service techs are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient when i do get to talk to someone. There's usually at least a 15 minute wait to reach someone. I would like to find a more economical solution that delivers comparable service, but there isn't one that i have found, and i have searched.

I give an overall rating of 2 stars. The reason for that being that when I supposedly upgraded in regards to speed there was no noticeable difference in actual speed although the service provider continues to charge the price for the upgraded speed. The internet service always seems to be going out as well - it works fine sometimes and then cuts out but when calling the service provider's tech support for help they want to blame my wireless modem which has worked for over 2 years previous without issue and of course works fine when internet service starts functioning again.

I use to love Time Warner Cable but now we have so many issues it has started to become ridiculous. Every week we need to reset our cable modem because of some new issue. First the DVR boxes weren't reading each other. Then the Wi-Fi would go out. Now we are having problems with the phones not working and the shows that are being recorded on the DVR boxes are jumping back to the beginning of the show half way through when you hit the rewind button. I am trying to be patient but the bill has jumped $15 dollars within a month for no apparent reason. I am definitely not satisfied with my internet service.

My internet provider is decent. I feel they are over priced. When I called to try to get a different package, I was transferred to 4 different people. Not very happy with their customer service.

Time Warner Roadrunner Has been reliable and fast For me all of the last 5 years That I have used it I love this Service I have not found anything as fast or as reliable I have Tried At&t U Verse and it was nothing but trouble I hated It So I immediately Switched back To Roadrunner and Have stay with it . The download speed is very god as well as the upload speed . I recommend it to anyone that would like high speed and reliability! It does cost about the same as At&t u verse. But much faster It would take a remarkable improvement in Broadband Service to get me to switch !
