Arlington Residential Internet Coverage

Depending on where you live in Arlington, you may have access to high-speed cable, DSL, fiber, or satellite internet.

Fiber internet, one of the fastest options available, is provided by Frontier. As Frontier builds out their fiber network, the service area may grow. Currently, it is limited to a small part of North Arlington.

AT&T is another primary fiber internet provider in Arlington, although this company also brings DSL to the entire city of Arlington. Service stretches to the neighborhoods of West and Southwest, running to the eastern limits of the city.

Coverage is similar through Time Warner Cable, although part of West falls outside of this company_s service area.

Charter, another key cable provider in Arlington, has a slightly smaller service area. Very little of central Arlington is covered, so the neighborhoods of Central and Dalworthington Gardens do not have Charter service. Coverage picks up just before Grand Prairie Municipal Airport in the east and runs eastward. In the west, service starts at Mattock Road.

Constant outages. Very inconvenient for working from home and when my kids need to log on for their school to complete homework. Tv also always out so canā€™t watch football games, news, etc. Ready to switch. Donā€™t recommend!

Inconsistent uptime. Having a technician coming out to the home for the third time for this issue. I think they are doing some sort of bandwidth sharing thing. If this can't get resolved I will have no choice but to fire them.

Stuck with subpar internet service and a company with highest ranking stars? Reality is they have the highest ranking stars for worst service ever. They are rude, not helpful and they do not honor their promise of a complete install...still cannot get WiFi in one room of my house. They insist I pay for a second install, seriously! My internet goes in and out with just a windy day...? It's not satellite and its not cable. So how does the weather play into it? They cannot tell me this. They say they will send a technician out, but if the problem is my equipment there will be a fee, OR I can upgrade (again) to a higher cost service to improve my connection. I am on the highest now at 75 mbps?? Run as fast as you can from this business! Don't say I didn't warn you.

The internet is what you pay for. I have the cheaper package and the internet is really slow. If you try to connect more than one device then you really start to have issue, but you get what you pay for I guess.
