payed 100$ a month for 4 years for the 500mbps download speed service. for 4 years i only got 25 mbps download speed after sending 5 different technicians out over the course of 4 years they finally discovered one of the cables were so dry rotted they were surprised it worked at all. for compensation i was offered 30$ and by contacting the BBB i was offered 1 month credit towards my account (which i never got). then they send me a router thats broke. i send it back and they send me another. it worked for 2 weeks and i had to drive it back to the store for yet another one. this one is also broke as ive been in chat with customer support all day. most of the customer support disconnected the chat on me as soon as they realized this router was also broke. i am changing services AS SOON as possible to TDS Fiber and i HIGHLY encourage anyone if there is another option for internet in your area go with that. DO NOT GET SERVICE THROUGH SPECTRUM INTERNET. You cant even setup your own wifi with your own router. you cant get into your router, you have to rely on them 100% for any sort of network issues and its shown plain as day they will not hesitate to end the chat on you if they dont know how to fix it

The worst customer service I have ever experienced and that's saying a lot in this day and age. My 92-year-old mother's land line has been intermittently down for close to a month. It is her only link to the outside world. There was one appointment where they said it was fixed. It wasn't. The other appointments that were scheduled for "between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m." (how's that for a window) they never showed. Their website is a joke and there's really no way you can talk to a human being unless you're willing to stay on hold for an hour. There are at least two days of my life I'll never get back trying to get them to fix this. I have a half dozen other complaints but needless to say, we'll be switching providers.
