Fine product but horrible business practices. From charging you for equipment you never asked for, to raising your bill without any notification. I called to cancel my service, and their retention employees are the worst of them all. They keep you on the line and will tell you anything not to switch their service. My bill went from 85 a month to 125. I called to cancel, and they said they can give me the same speeds at just 25. I said it was too late, and I wont do business with a shady company. The terrible person then tried for 15 minutes to sell me on the company, despite my repeated requests to just cancel the service. He even ended up calling me stupid for going for a higher price at a different company, and yes that's what I would prefer after betrayal. Horrible experience, I am so glad another company has moved in to break up the monopoly Spectrum has in the area.

Spectrum worked great for the first week, but after that it’s been nothing but them sending me emails saying they where doing service in my area every other day so I am constantly without internet with them still expecting me to pay for it!! I’m paying it but they are only supplying the services like one day a week definitely not recommending them to anyone ever!!

I started Spectrum at $35/mos, then one year later they inceased to $50 then a year later they increased to $65 then a few months later they sent me a letter saying they will increase to $75 on my birthday... I was upset and I quit them they offer me $40/mos to keep me but because of the letter they sent me, I went to different provider. .... for the functionality it is much slower than what is on the add. I mostly got 5-10mbps on the promise of 100Mbps and waiting for response is not satisfied.

If there is any way you can avoid Spectrum, do it at all costs. By far the most expensive and most inferior internet service provider. Their customer service is by far the worst. They make promise they cannot keep. Saying their service is superior but yet it is constantly out. Stay away from them.

Spectrum is CONSTANTLY having issues, and none of the agents are able to explain why that is. I have replaced both modem and router, didn't fix. The constant outages is driving me up the wall. I asked why they are constantly facing outages, and the agent explained what an outage is. I understand what an outage is, I'm not stupid. I don't appreciate being spoken to like a child. As soon as there's another option in the area, I will switch and will not look back. DO NOT GET SPECTRUM.

Service is spotty and I don't get the speeds I pay for. Price was fine when I started, but after a couple years the price went up by 15-20$ a year. Worth 50$, definitely not worth 110$

The absolute WORST practices and pricing!! Charging me for full service even though I cancelled my service. "We charge for the entire month of cable service once the bill is generated (but not due yet) even if you cancel , there is no pro-rating." This is why Spectrum has such bad reviews. Very, very poor customer experience. Charging an arm and a leg for cable service over still take from you even after you cancel services. Will make sure i share this shady business practice with everyone I know - steer clear of Spectrum!!!

What a total scam!! Turned in all of my 8 cable and DVR boxes three days after the new billing cycle started and they are STILL charging me for the ENTIRE upcoming month of service; oh wait...they gave me a "credit" for the boxes but not the service (which I cannot get without the boxes). No pro-rating, no explanation, nothing. This is the reason Spectrum Cable TV customers are leaving in droves. Absolutely ridiculous to pay over $300 for service each month and get charged for a full month even after you cancel it and turn in your equipment. Run, don't walk, from Spectrum Cable TV service. Absolutely ridiculous.
