cox is one of the worst company's I’ve seen many time I’ve tried and give them second and third and fourth and fifth chances i say cox only works like 10 percent of the time and if i was you i wouldnt ever buy internet from cox or anything from them for that matter because the money you spend will just get wasted and internet will not work.you get a passcode to sign in 95 percent of the time says it’s invalid and customer help doesn’t ever fix the solution they one of the worst help services I’ve ever seen with making account or passcode not working and everything.if I was your stay far far away from cox internet.

Had Cox years ago and they were subpar. That trend continues to this day. Employees at the local office act as if they are doing me a favor when I ask for assistance or clarification. Service goes down almost every single day at some point and their billing process is atrocious. Pay my bill a week in advance and nearly three weeks later they are still telling me my bill is overdue. I will be firing this company this week. Tired of paying for sub-optimal service. Good riddance.

When I actually have service, they are great. The speed is wonderful, but Internet is down almost every day for me at least for several hours and I have not been happy for several months.

I just changed my plan from 500 Mbps to 1 gig. I changed plans because my promotional price had ended. With the old plan I averaged about 230 Mbps, one half of the "up to speed" is apparently standard for Cox. However, with the new 1 gig plan, I only get a download speed of about 270 Mbps, not even half of the up to 1 gig advertised speed. Customer service just wants to upgrade services like going to a 2 gig plan, getting a service plan, etc. Looking forward to the availability of a fiber plan!

Have not had TV service Since MARCH and it is JUNE! Multiple calls to set up a technician, they either show up late when I am not available, or do not show up at all. I have not received such poor service from any company in recent memory. It is time to look into Verizon, or another provider in the area. Say goodbye to a 20+ year customer due to your lack of customer service.

Cox used to have great service; however, since they raised their prices near the end of last year, their service has declined significantly. Currently, I have no Internet, phone, or tv. On January 29, I lost service for 5 hours. On January 31, I had no service at all. On February 1-2, I have no service at all.. A recording tells you that your area is experiencing an outage. A virtual agent tells you that you can go to a Cox hotspot and connect: I have no desire to lug my computer and all my information to another location to do the work I would like to do. I also think I would look pretty foolish trying to take my home phone and television to another site. I think it is time to move my service to another provider. Verizon is looking better and better!

I've been having issues for 6 weeks where my internet drops 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes. I work from home and have been dumped out of at least 6 meetings. I've had 3 techs to my house and it still is not resolved. When it works it's great the techs are always good, but I don't think Cox is able to fix at this point

Internet goes out often. It’s difficult to get a live person in the phone and they tend not to listen. They make excuses and are overall unresponsive. I would not recommend them and we are actively looking for an alternative.
