payed 100$ a month for 4 years for the 500mbps download speed service. for 4 years i only got 25 mbps download speed after sending 5 different technicians out over the course of 4 years they finally discovered one of the cables were so dry rotted they were surprised it worked at all. for compensation i was offered 30$ and by contacting the BBB i was offered 1 month credit towards my account (which i never got). then they send me a router thats broke. i send it back and they send me another. it worked for 2 weeks and i had to drive it back to the store for yet another one. this one is also broke as ive been in chat with customer support all day. most of the customer support disconnected the chat on me as soon as they realized this router was also broke. i am changing services AS SOON as possible to TDS Fiber and i HIGHLY encourage anyone if there is another option for internet in your area go with that. DO NOT GET SERVICE THROUGH SPECTRUM INTERNET. You cant even setup your own wifi with your own router. you cant get into your router, you have to rely on them 100% for any sort of network issues and its shown plain as day they will not hesitate to end the chat on you if they dont know how to fix it

Absolutely horrible customer service but the internet is pretty good. I called in to get set up and the guy who was helping me was so pushy with upsells when I repeatedly told him I wasn’t interested. Which is ok, just annoying but a part of the job. But then once I was actually set up he had set me up with the wrong email address, he mailed my equipment to a vacant house when I told him multiple times not to, and he failed to set me up with the EBB credit, which is why I had called in the first place. It took me multiple chats, visits to the local store, and hours on the phone to get things sorted out from that one stupid sales guy. And I’m still not sure if my EBB credit will work, they said it will take a few billing cycles to have it show up. So I’m hoping I don’t have to do this all again in 2 months if it wasn’t set up right
