Worst customer service ever! Price continues to go up even with the price lock. Xfinity is not worth anything and encourage you to look elsewhere before getting caught up in there deceit. Apps are as useless as the website
been a long time customer , nut i must the customer service of late is not what it use to be back in the day!!!, i made TWO appts for a service to my home, and no one sowed either time, ugh , and the person on the phone said they were on site , i told her they were not!!, and this happened two different times, frustration, and last nite i spent 48 minutes on the phone with a very nice lady, im sure, but i didnt understand one word she said to me, , I miss the days when you could just walk in to the store and pay your bill , and get someone to actually help you , and you schedule an appt for a house visit , and ppl actually showed up and fixed the problem!!!, i miss the old days
I switched from Comcast to Sonic last month. Sonic uses AT&T lines but charges far less than AT&T for comparable service. Connection speed is superior to what I had with Comcast; so far, reliability is also better.
I give three stars for service only because it can take a couple of weeks to get Sonic installed. They're at the mercy of AT&T's schedule.
I no longer use cable -- all entertainment is streamed from Amazon, Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, and Sling TV. I wish I had made the switch sooner, because I now pay far less for far better viewing options.
Lesson learned -- the major players are never offering the best deals on Internet access. Do some checking and see if there are little guys who can give you a better price.
