DO NOT GET QUANTUM FIBER THROUGH CENTURY LINK!! They will try to tell you that you already have a modem and when you tell them you don’t, if you’re a woman, you’ll get asked condescending questions about how you set up your installation date. Not kidding one of the reps, after I vehemently denied having a modem, asked if I set up my installation appointment on my phone or computer. How am I supposed to set it up on my computer when I don’t have a modem or wifi! Eventually cancelled my service, had to ask 3 TIMES for my refund. On the third time I was told I had to cancel my service (which I already did) in order to get a refund. Was eventually passed off to a supervisor who said he put in everything correctly now and that I should be getting my refund. NONE OF THOSE REFUNDS EVER CAME!!! I gave up trying to get a refund directly from them and had to dispute the transaction with my bank. Quantum fiber through Century Link is a scam do not fall for it!
Worst Customer Service. Tried to move service from rental to new home. Even upgraded service, but had to wait two weeks for an appointment. Never showed up so I spent just over two hours dealing with Customer Service. Basically paid for a month of service that we didn't use and wasted a whole day waiting on a tech to arrive, which I was told on the day of the appointment that they were still going to be arriving.
