Kansas City Residential Internet Coverage
The sprawling area of Kansas City that is located in Missouri has dozens of established neighborhoods.
Through Centurylink Prism, many of these neighborhoods have access to fiber internet. Service is not available along the Kansas border, starting as far west as Armour Hills and extending east to East Meyer. There is a slight gap in service, but the network pickup again in Park Farms. Coverage is available in many northern and southern neighborhoods, although service stops short of many northeastern neighborhoods.
The CenturyLink DSL network is considerably larger, with only a few central gaps in coverage and some service provided along the western edge of the city.
AT&T is another established service provider in Kansas City, offering full service in the northwestern part of the city. Much of southeastern Kansas City falls into this company_s service area, including Little Blue Valley, Timber Valley, and Faireway Hills.
Xfinity has a limited network in northwestern Kansas City, reaching Sarritt Point in the north, Crown Center in the west, Linden Hills in the south, and West Blue Township in the east.
Time Warner Cable offers coverage along the northwestern border with Kansas, reaching in as far as Ingleside.
For a 3rd cable option, Charter, a few southeastern neighborhoods enjoy consistent service. These neighborhoods include Stayton Meadows and Sterling Acres.
FairPoint Communications has an established network in this region. Service is primarily available south of Sunset Hill and west of Brown Estates.
Tech giant Google offers high-speed fiber internet to the border neighborhoods of Westside South and North, Coleman Highlands, and Volker via Google Fiber.
