Indianapolis Residential Internet Coverage
As the capital of Indiana, the city of Indianapolis has many established internet service providers that aim to meet the needs of residential and commercial customers. Several service providers cover the entire city of Indianapolis, including AT&T, One Communications, Megapath, and On-Ramp Indiana. Other service providers offer coverage to select neighborhoods in Indianapolis.
Through Verizon, the western neighborhoods of International Marketplace and Guion Creek enjoy internet service. Service is also available in the northern areas of Meridian Hills and Nora.
The Xfinity network covers all of Indianapolis except for a handful of central neighborhoods. These neighborhoods include Near Eastside, Martindale, Near Northside, and Christian Park.
Garden City and Speedway, two western neighborhoods, are in the service area of Mediacom.
Service is available through Smithville Holding Company in the southeastern neighborhoods of Beech Grove, Poplar Grove, and University Heights.
Hancock Communications has a growing network that currently reaches the northern Indianapolis communities of Allisonville, Clearwater, Williams Creek, and Delaware Trails.
All of Indianapolis is within the Brighthouse Networks service area, except Chapel Hill and Key Meadows in the west.
These neighborhoods, as well as Delaware Trails and Crooked Creek, fall outside the service area of Level 3 Communications.
Lightbound serves most of southern Indianapolis, as well as the far northern neighborhoods, but stops short of reaching central neighborhoods like Devington, Ravenswood, and Mapleton.
