WOW! offers fast and reliable internet services at good prices. It’s the eighth-largest cable internet provider in the U.S., but it’s also building new fiber-to-the-home connections in some of its service areas. In addition to great overall value, many WOW! Internet plans include perks like high data caps and free modem rental. To top it off, WOW! Internet plans don’t have contracts, so it’s a good option for customers seeking flexibility.

WOW! Internet speeds: What’s best for you?
The best plan from WOW! is the Fiber 500 plan (if you live in a fiber area) and is ideal for an average household. It will provide plenty of speed for a family of four to stream, download, and game without missing a beat. To sweeten the deal, the plan comes with included equipment and no contract.
Customers with smaller households (or smaller budgets) should consider the Fiber 100 plan. The cost is one of the lowest we’ve seen anywhere for these speeds, and the plan also comes with free Wi-Fi gear.
WOW! Internet data caps
WOW! has some of the most generous data caps we’ve seen from any cable internet provider, and fiber plans from WOW! come with unlimited data. Faster cable plans come with more data—and it makes sense. It’s hard to burn through a big bucket of data if you don’t have a lot of bandwidth to begin with.
If you exceed your data in a given month, you’ll automatically be charged $10 per 50GB (up to $50). Read your terms and conditions carefully to determine the data cap for your plan.

WOW!’s fees are fairly standard, but the good news is you can get around most of them. Every plan comes with a free self-install kit, which can save you $90 compared to a professional installation. Wi-Fi gear is included indefinitely, but you could decide to pony up an extra $5 per month to lock in your price for life.
Data cap overage fees shouldn’t be a problem for most customers either. WOW! data caps are set high compared to other providers, and fiber plans have no limits at all.
WOW! Internet installation, equipment, and contracts
WOW! offers $10 self-installation for all its internet plans, with a $100 fee if you need a pro to come out and help.
Wi-Fi equipment comes included for both cable and fiber internet plans, at least for the first year. For large homes, WOW! offers its premium Wi-Fi package for an extra $9.99 per month, which includes a mesh router system.
