Save Big With Spectrum by Bundling Internet With Mobile and TV

Now is a good time to switch to Spectrum

Everyone likes simplicity, right? Why clutter your bank account with dozens of autopay drafts when you can combine them all into one monthly payment?

Guess what: You can do just that by switching to Spectrum , while saving money in the process. Spectrum’s latest campaign provides up to $1,000 in savings for the first year—but only if you’re switching from AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon.

We explain why you should ditch the Big Three and run with Spectrum’s bundling, whether you qualify for the new campaign or not.

First, let’s talk about the new Spectrum Savings Guarantee

Hot on the heels of announcing Invincible WiFiTM, Spectrum now wants you to ditch AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon mobile service by taking advantage of the Spectrum Savings Guarantee. In a nutshell, you’ll receive bill credits over one year totalling $1,000 if your savings from switching Internet service and two (or more) mobile lines are less than $1,000 in your first year.

Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1: Sign up for one of four qualifying Spectrum Internet® plans (see below). Be sure to retain your most recent internet bill from your old provider.

Step 2: Order two or more paid Spectrum Mobile® lines. The number of Spectrum Mobile lines must match or be greater than the number of lines displayed on your latest mobile bill supplied by AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon.

Step 3: Submit the Spectrum Savings Guarantee form once you add two or more Spectrum Mobile lines. You must include your most recent internet and mobile bills from your previous providers.

Once you submit the form along with copies of your internet and mobile bills, Spectrum will compare what you last paid against what you now pay for Spectrum Internet and Spectrum Mobile. If the savings are less than $1,000 in the first year, Spectrum will apply monthly bill credits in equal increments over the first year.

Since we’re here talking about switching from AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon, keep in mind that Spectrum Internet includes one Unlimited Mobile line for a full year, but only if you don’t bundle two lines or more (which you need to do with the Spectrum Savings Guarantee campaign). We’ll get to all the bundling information in a minute, but first, let’s talk about your home network.

Don’t forget Advanced WiFi and Invincible WiFi

The table shown above lists only the internet plans offered by Spectrum. If you also need Wi-Fi and don’t want to purchase a Wi-Fi 7 router or mesh system, you can lease the equipment you need from Spectrum. Here’s your cost:

Invincible WiFi$10/mo.*If you already have Advanced WiFi
Spectrum WiFi Extender$5/mo. eachYou can add up to five units

Which Spectrum WiFi solution is right for you? We compare Advanced WiFi against Invincible WiFi in a separate article, so you can choose what’s best for your home network needs. In a nutshell, Invincible WiFi provides a Wi-Fi 7 router with a built-in 5G modem and bundles it with an 8-hour battery backup accessory.

Now, let’s talk about bundling internet with mobile.

The new Spectrum Savings Guarantee is really about bundling

To get the savings Spectrum described, you must bundle Spectrum Internet with Spectrum Mobile. And according to the terms, you must add at least two lines to qualify. So, how does bundling work? Glad you asked. Take a look at Spectrum’s pricing:

  • 2 years

  • Spectrum Mobile AND Spectrum TV®

See how bundling works? Add one additional service to Spectrum Internet to get a two-year discount on internet. Add a third service to get a three-year discount on internet.

So, which Spectrum Mobile plan qualifies for the Spectrum Savings Guarantee? Only the Unlimited and Unlimited Plus plans. Here’s the pricing:

But why switch from a mobile-first carrier to an internet-first provider?

Truth be told, Spectrum Mobile devices switch to Verizon’s cellular network when they disconnect from Spectrum WiFi (T-Mobile if you have a business plan). However, in some areas, you may access Spectrum’s Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) spectrum instead, meaning your devices don’t connect to one of the Big Three for cellular service.

But here’s the thing: We both know you love to watch TV, so let’s talk about our main reason why Spectrum is a better option than AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

    Spectrum TV saves you money

T-Mobile and AT&T don’t offer live TV services. Instead, you must choose a standalone service like Hulu Live TV or DIRECTV. Verizon is the only one of the Big Three that can compete with Spectrum when it comes to live TV, but we think Spectrum is the better deal.

First, let’s take a look at what you can get through Spectrum:

See how much you save by choosing Spectrum TV? From what we can tell, Verizon’s top-tier The Most Fios TV plan includes just three streaming services, whereas Spectrum’s base TV plan includes nine streaming services. And as we previously mentioned, you get a three-year discount on internet service if you bundle it with Spectrum Mobile and Spectrum TV.

    Switching to Spectrum is easy

Overall, if you currently use AT&T or T-Mobile for cellular service, chances are you may get your internet and live TV from other providers. Both carriers offer 5G and home fiber internet, but their home fiber service has limited availability. Plus, neither one offers native live TV solutions.

Meanwhile, Verizon offers 5G and fiber internet, mobile, and TV services, but to use Fios TV, you must also have Fios Fiber installed, which is also limited in availability.

What a pain, right? Who wants to juggle three different bills?

No one, in our book, and that’s why we say go with Spectrum—especially during the Spectrum Savings Guarantee campaign. Spectrum has a larger internet availability compared to the Big Three’s home fiber offering, plus Spectrum is more reliable than their 5G home internet. And if you’re lucky, you may live in an area where Spectrum offers 100% Fiber Internet, so take that Big Three!

The bottom line is you can get your internet, mobile, and TV services combined into one easy-to-read bill when you switch to Spectrum, plus you get a handful of streaming services on the house, saving you loads of money.

    We love saving money—don’t you?
