Lansing Residential Internet Coverage

Located near major metropolitan areas like Ann Arbor and Detroit, Lansing enjoys the solid internet coverage of both of these areas.

Through AT&T, Lansing customers located in any part of the city enjoy access to DSL, fiber internet, or both.

Frontier Communications has a slightly limited service area. It reaches many neighborhoods in northern Lansing, including River Forest, Shady Oaks, Creston, and Northtown. Service reaches as far south as Eastfield and is not available south of that point.

Windstream's coverage area is very similar to that of AT&T, stretching beyond city limits to hit outer communities and rural areas.

Cable internet is widely available through Xfinity in Lansing and surrounding communities. Neighborhoods on the outer edges of Lansing are covered by Charter, although much of Lansing falls outside of this company's service area. Covered neighborhoods include Old Everett and Forest View in the south, Fairview and Grosebeck in the east, and Bassett Park and Turner-Dodge in the north.

Major internet provider Eaglenet currently makes high-speed service available to all of Lansing.

And finally, the coverage provided by ACD.net is comparable, extending far north and south of Lansing's city limits.

Absolutely worst company to deal with stay far far away from them. I’ve been trying to cancel for over two months and they keep billing me. Their customer support is horrible. I’ve talked over 10 different people about being canceled and they still have yet to do it.

My comments are on behalf of my parents account. Their issue has been with the Peacock app, which was originally free of charge but now has a monthly subscription fee. It worked fine while it was free, but has remained inaccessible since the monthly charge began June 26, 2023. Numerous attempts by phone and in person have been made to resolve this problem Xfinity created, with no success. My research shows me many others were/are in this same situation, yet each Xfinity contact we have made we are told they know next to nothing about it and offer no solutions to resolve their problem. The Peacock app worked fine when it was free, now it doesn't now that they are charging for it's use. How hard can this be for them to understand and correct? Please let me know if any of you have had this issue and if you have had any luck getting it resolved. My mom is beside herself over this and she does not rattle easily.
