Internet speed is good. The internet speed is able to support Amazon Prime, basic internet, cellular internet, and video streaming. Pricing is fair. The customer service, however, is lacking. There tends to be a disconnect on communication. Despite having email confirmations of times/dates scheduled, addresses, and chat logs, they are disorganized. Example: when setting up our router, they sent the modem to the wrong address. Example 2: when set up the modem, they ensured us they would bury the line within a week. Example 3: it’s been over 3 months and our modem has yet to be buried. They either don’t show up. Or they try to show up without any notice and then get upset that we aren’t in town. Example 4: times/dates that are scheduled for service (and confirmed via email) are wasted. Take off work to accommodate their need for a resident available. No service is provided. No call is made. No apology given. They blame someone else (so and so must have entered the wrong address, we have no record of that scheduled time, you have the wrong date, Etc.). They don’t take responsibility and essentially call my husband a liar when he has email confirmations of proof. Example 5: Wait time on the phone is 20+ minutes after you have already been transferred 3 times. Chat feature on app is unpredictable and tends to cut off before an issue is resolved. For this reason, simple tasks like scheduling service, paying a bill, or reporting an issue due to weather become a headache. After we finally are able to get a technician to bury our line and a representative to set us up on auto draft for payments, my outlook on Centurylink will improve greatly. It’s just the customer service has such a negative impact on the overall experience.
