06/1018. Phone and internet out Naples Fl area; again. Last week the phone was out for 5 days. Decades with the old phone company and rarely ever a problem. Call tech support; problem in your area, working on it estimate by 10:53 PM. Thanks for nothing, terrible service, always failing. Hope a competitor comes along and replaces you. In Tucson, I dumped cable TV, put up an antennae and better picture than I ever had with Comcast. Dumped landline, still have to stick with internet until Verizon lowers costs; then bye bye Comcast; glad to see you go. I hope you go bankrupt. My brother in Attleboro, MA had internet issues I asked if he had reset his cable modem, he said he spent an hour talking to someone at Comcast tech support and they scheduled a technician. I told him how to reset his router, problem solved, yet 1 hr with comcast tech support clueless. Comcast sucks!

I paid for Xfinity to install and set up the modem/internet service. I need to reset the modem almost daily for it to continue to function without locking up. Their service tech (by chat after 37 others in front of me) finally suggested that I replace the modem. Now they expect me to drive 30 miles each way to replace their modem that I paid to have installed 3 weeks ago? What a joke. I would suggest going elsewhere but all these companies suck, they provide poor service for too much money with insufficient competition to drive better customer service and lower prices.

I tried AT and T but there speeds could not run my Smart T.v always losing service sometimes up to 5 days ! Since I have subscribed to xfinity Comcast I have had no problems. It is a bit pricey but we'll worth it .

I am being charged for equipment that I did not request and the new equipment doesn't work. I called Comcast and they told me that I have to go to the local service center which is only open 10am to 6pm and Saturday mornings. I work an hour away and I work on Saturdays. I do not believe it is right to charge me for something I didn't request and to expect me to take time off work (which, will cost me money) to return equipment I didn't ask for!! I seems like fraud to me!

the internet service is great ... When it works. They constantly have outages and issues. its sad they almost have a monopoly over everyone else in the area. I leave the Speed rating AS WHEN IT WORKS so think about it if you are considering going with comcast/xfinity

Comcast is great. I have 2 kids who both have multiple devices that are connected to Wi-Fi and they both always have friends over who hook into or Wi-Fi also. With all tennis activity it never seems to run slow at all. Also, I love the hot spots

Comcast has horrible customer service and their agents lack the ability to resolve issues associated with billing/ trouble shooting. These are common issues they should be able to handle. I have spoken with 16 different agents and none of them took the initiative to review my account, they were just repeating the amount of my bill, which I was aware of. All they had to do to resolve my issue was look at my contract date but they refuse to do that and it took me 7 months to get this issue resolved.

They lie, cheat, and steal your money. I had to spend half an hour to an hour on the phone with them because they charged me way more than what they told me I would be billed. They even admitted that they were wrong to do so but never once offered to refund the overcharged amount. When I asked them to they said they couldn't do anything about it. Another thing, there were "additional" charges added to my account when I changed my plan and I couldn't see what they where; the new plan was supposed to be cheaper but with these new charges it ended up being the same overpriced price as before.

I ordered a pkg, they guaranteed same price for 12 months. I have had xfinity for 6 months and the bill amount has been different (more of course) every month. Two months back I had them put a lock on the tv so that nothing could be downloaded accidently. Lo and behold, last month they charged us for a movie that they said we ordered (which we did not). Not only is this annoying, having to call every month, but they never show a detail bill (so you don't know what they are charging you for). They have a "secret" address that you must key in (approx. 73 key strokes) to see your own detail!

This is the what I would imagine its like living in a place where they just started internet. Every single day there are multiple outages, some last minutes some last hours. The funny part is there is no credit to your account if the total outages are less than 4 hours! When you call customer “service” you have to fight your way to get to a human being. They should be ashamed of themselves but they are not. I especially love the robot operator telling you to watch a self help video on the internet which you cannot get to. The only think you can do is laugh.

Although Comcast continues to say they lead the market in overall internet speed, when tested, it doesn't even come close to their claim. And everything is an additional charge. Apparently one cannot have internet access without a data plan? So what good is having internet access? This seems like a racket to me. When did having a computer connected to the internet become so complicated?

I had the technician David come and install 2 cable boxes and a WiFi router at my brothers apartment while I was there because my brother could not be at the time. I felt it needed to be noted that David did a very wonderful job and was very proficient at his work. He had a very easy going manner, and was very professional. Better than a lot of the stuck up, crabby technicians I've seen before. This guy deserves a ton of credit! That being said, I love xfinity!

We have xfinity, We signed up and that was very simple. Technician came late and did not have correct tools. Said someone will come same day. Long story short took 2 days but they set it up. Have been getting pretty consistent speeds at what I pay for, did not have to call since. Very happy with it now.

They have been OK but I just wish they had better customer service. I get the feeling they dont care about my business when I call and there are long hold times. I also wish there were more options for just internet only service since I don't use cable. I hate paying for something I don't use. I guess they can charge whatever they want since it seams they along with AT&T have a monopoly of the area. If anyone has any suggestions for alternatives in Bolingbrook, IL I would greatly appreciate it.

Unwanted outages every other week now. And it’s been going on for month’s now and either they don’t have a clue or they don’t want to tell what’s going on. The funny response I get when I ask the customer service is “ it’s not just you sir the whole area is affected “ i don’t know in what sense it’s suppose to be ok if it affects the whole area. If you want a reliable internet this is not it, if you just want it to work every once in a while Comcast is the choice otherwise PLEASE I advise not to go with Comcast. This is from a seriously frustrated internet consumer. I hope this helps somebody.

I have been having infrequent service problems with them since I moved to my new place at the end of December. Random slow downs and outages. Last week, they got frequent, so I called it in. They have sent out two techs and "escalated" it to "Tier 2" three times now. They are sending out a new tech tomorrow and Escalation or Tier 2 or whatever should be in touch with me in the next THREE days. The issue should be solved by two weeks from today. TWO WEEKS. I'm done. No offers of a discount or anything to placate the amazingly annoyed client. Now I get to shop for a new service today. Terrific.

I have been with Comcast for a little over 4 years now. I have had absolutely nothing but the greatest customer service, and guest experience you could possibly have. I have had on occasion two separate times, had to call customer service to replace a box and call customer service to come out and check the wiring at my house. Each time I have received nothing but the best customer service from top-notch employees each time. I highly recommend Comcast to be your future internet service provider.

The internet speed for Comcast is amazing. The pictures and webpages download in a flash and it makes browsing a breeze. Downloading videos and streaming music was fast and I never had any issues with either. The quality of cable tv was great for the tv that had the main DVR installed. The other Tv's had small boxes and it made the picture on out HDTV not as good as it potentially could've been. If you decide to get this service it is worth it to get a DVR for each TV! The service was okay, I had to call a few times and it was a hassle in order to fix a few issues. The price I felt was a little high when xo.pares ro other service providers in the area.

Comcast has a monopoly in town and they know it. I have not had issues with connectivity like many negative reviews, and when I check the speed it's usually what I've been promised. But the cheapest option has been ticking up in price and now costs more than my electricity. Online account is useless, doesn't even have the right address, and the person on chat just gives you the phone number. It's like they KNOW people will just keep shelling out cash instead of spending a few days trying to speak with a human.

Comcast has a ridiculous policy that expects 30 days notice to cancel their service no matter why. I had to close our small business because of cash flow problems. We called Comcast to explain and try to close our account. They would not let us close it even though we have been with them for more than 5 years. We closed our business at the end of November 2017 and they still sent bills until February 2018. Difficult to believe how gritty this company is.

Pretty much what you read about Comcast is true. Outages are frequent. If cell phone companies are capable of good service why can’t comcast. It takes forever to get issues resolved with your bill. (You must have patience of a Saint) We pay for a service that is supposed to work 100% of the time. I seriously think we should be charged for the time it is actually working or our true usage (like our utility bills) rather than the overpriced bills we all get. Cmon Comcast issue some credits or get your act together.

Doesn't matter what the provider, anything controller by comcast is trash. Been online for about an hour tonight and the internet has already gone down 6 times. I don't know who thought this would be fair, but they need to get their act together. We pay for our internet like everyone else, but with how much fails I am surprised they haven't been sued. Don't choose anything related to Comcast.

Customer service is terrible, I just wasted hours of my off time trying to resolve a situation and no one fixed it. I was constantly transferred to multiple representatives and nothing was resolved. My internet service dropped 3 times a day for a month straight and even with numerous calls still no fix. The sad part is that its like this every time I have a problem, customer service just never seem to know what they are doing. I wish we had another provider in the area. If you do then please try a different internet provider.

The suggestion that Comcast is rated roughly 3.5 out of 5 stars is hard to believe. I have been with them for 30 years and it has ALWAYS been very challenging. Unfortunately there are not a lot of options in my area. Every year I have to fight with them regarding their significant increases concerning their billings. Today was the final straw. I am done fighting with them and done with the poor service. I plan to take whatever else is available. I cannot recommend Comcast.

The rumors are true. Comcast lies whenever and wherever they can to get you to sign up, and then they jack up your bill without telling you. Contradictory information. Standard run-around with representatives. They even lied when I tried to cancel. They told me I would have to pay a huge fee, which was not true. I can't afford the new pricing, and I have no other service options in my area. If you have a choice, go with absolutely anyone else.

Worst company, I only signed up because of a cheap promotional offer; should have known better! They said they'd come out on Tues am, then called to confirm service but said, there was no time scheduled. ??? THen said they can have tech come out tomorrow am, never showed. Called and they said rep would be out at 10:45 then 12:30, then another day. Stay away; they're promotion is not worth the frustration!!!!

Very disappointed in call just now to AT&T in exploring their option as a possible internet provider instead of COMCAST. Asked if a tech could merely come out and talk to be about my residential setup. The Customer service guy seemed to think he could answer ALL questions without SEEING my logistics/residence concerns. Real sorry...I would have liked to entertain the idea of possibly going with AT&T. So much for "service". Disappointed.

Poor service! I live in Hanford CA, I contatantly reset my router, an Xfinity/Comcast service "tech" came and told me there was something wrong with my TV. No way! The supposed "tech" had to call another "tech" who installed some sort of relay boxes - hardwiring my TV to router, after I still have the same problem. Grr!!! -

I don't recommend Comcast but they're a monopoly in my area so I have little choice but to subscribe to their service. Their prices keep going up and they offer no discounts for long term customers. Customer service is crummy and good luck if you have a problem. My internet drops frequently but the techs say it is fine. One time I had water in my line and they denied it was possible until I proved it! It has never worked correctly but I'm tired of dealing with it.

Too keep an extremely long story short. Comcast is hands down the worst organization I've ever dealt with. No exaguration at all. Have talked too perhaps 4 or 5 different representatives over the past 2 weeks and my billing is a complete mess. Each representative has told me different things and each one has lied to me. Hands down worst communication I've ever received from a company. Like I said, to keep it short and simple please just listen to my warning if you are a new customer. Comcast does nothing but offer over priced packages, mediocre internet service, miscommunication and make sure you monitor your promotional deal towards the end. Because they will not get a hold of you and are just waiting badly too skyrocket your bill to something outrageous. Then when you ask for a simple fix due to you not knowing your bill would he that high after promotion, they won't do anything for you except lie and transfer you too another representative. There are cheaper better options out there I promise you. I promise.

Very unhappy with Xfinity. Big price increase after new customer deal expires. Specials widely advertised but only available to new customers or "not available in my area". Phone calls to shop plans have take about an hour with reps stating there are no specials currently unless I'd like to spend more and they have no idea when any promotion starts/stops or otherwise, and advise to"check back". Rep dont offer plans which would provide more service for same price. Its up to the consumer to try to outsmart Xfinity. Call back the next day and you will receive different/contradictory info from next representative about even basic info. Phone reps are unaware of any specials advertised online. Basically a huge hassle for a product most people have on their phones. Would leave zero stars if able to.

Had enough of Windstream and heard so much good about Xfinity. Have continued to be dropped several times a day since I got it in February. Have had four different technicians out here and they have changed the modem. Still drops. Did give me a credit but I want my internet to work. No one calls me back any more and I have been very nice. They have figured out it must be on the line somewhere and not my home. Yay but that does not help me at all. If there was someone other than these two I would change in a heartbeat.

When I first got it I only wanted internet but internet plus basic cable cost the same as internet alone, so I got the package (although I rarely watch cable) at a really good price. Once the introductory period was over though, the rate doubled for the same service. The service itself is good; but when there is an occasional problem, dealing with customer service can be very difficult. All in all, a lower price would definitely have improved this rating.

Xfinity advertises an "up to" speed which means nothing. All it does is give them a basis for the amount they will bill an account. The real speed in our case was much less (10%) of that speed. The problem is that it becomes unreliable as a provider and if the speed drops to a level that reception is not even there the account is still billed for full price. I have found that complaints will restore service for a short time and then it drops again to an unacceptable level. Their suggestion was to complain frequently to maintain service-- unbelievable! We have been with them for a couple of years and are glad that our contract is up so we can switch to another provider

Every single day cable box wants to restart (which takes way longer than it should) to "update"! Update what...how can it possibly need to update everyday! Then, again almost at least once a day, it freezes! You can't do ANYTHING but unplug & plug back in (which if plug is hard to get to can be even more of a pain)! Then, this month they raised bill...no more services..just more money! Internet also flips out regularly!

I have called Xfinity a number of times to complain about the WIFI service. It keeps defaulting to a pop up asking me if I am an xfinity customer or want to be when clearly I am and even have an Xfinity modem. I have asked them to correct this on several occasions, they even have escalated this but still cant seem to figure out what the problem is. I have no choice but to switch providers. What would be the better provider?

Comcast has the worst service in my area in my experience with horrible pricing. The speed is not up to par compared to another provider we had in the past. The wifi is awful (can't use it when we run the microwave - that's a somewhat new development). The price keeps going up, but we never get better service. They rarely respond to service calls appropriately and in a timely manner. They have been known to hang up on us.

I have had Comcast / xfinity for many years with excellent results. My uptime is practically100% and the few times I have had problems, the response time to fix the problem was quite rapid and reliable. I get fantastic bandwidth and would highly recommend xfinity to anyone shopping for high speed internet access in Houston.

I've been with Comcast for years and never have really cared for them to much but haven't been given any other choice but them for internet and cable t.v. There prices are way to high, they make claims they can't stand by, and when you tell them you need to lower your bill please give me something that will work more with my budget, they don't understand that concept.

Comcast internet has not given me any troubles in the year or so that I've had it. We live in a two bedroom apartment and can always get good internet service on our devices from wherever we are. I do, however, wish internet service in general was more affordable.

I've used Comcast's least expensive choice to have wi-fi iny home as well as basic TV. I've not included phone service as I didn't need it. Whenever I've had any issues over theses past 15 years, this company has always made it known, they value customer satisfaction! I always try to keep my eyes on any way to save money! Thanks for your service!

When it's working its great. The problem is the it's not reliable. Ot goes down at least three times a week. You would be streaming a movie and all of the sudden it's gone. When it's up the speed is enough to support two or three devices.

Comcast internet is fast. Its always gives you what you need at all times. You don't have to sit and wait and hope its what you needed. If you do need help you can get a service person out to help, and if you have insurance there is no cost to you.

Frequent service interruptions, a company we prefer not to deal with anymore, comcast changes its price because we have teenagers in the house who, of course, use a lot of data and my bill can double or triple for the same data we used with them even two months ago. Comcast takes the fun out of going online.

So far dealing with the company has been great. I did have an issue of my modem rebooting, which ended up that the cord had been chewed up by the previous tenants dog. As soon as that cable was replaced the speed has been good and no connection issues.

I have been with xfinity/Comcast for a long time now. Internet speed is good. However!!!!! The company always try to jack up your costs once or twice a year. Go to office and complain loudly but with decorum. They will reduce costs. Ignore price increases at your peril. This company will also try to change your contract. The latest is to limit your download volume. Expect charges if you break your limit. a new income stream we never had to pay for or worry about. xfinity/Comcast are not customer/service driven. but always about profit per customer and how to generate more. Don't let them beat you down. Fight back. Unfortunately the options here are of no consequence we are stuck with a monopoly.

Comcast, once one is in its clutches, proceeds to regard one as a serf, duty bound to pay every increasing charges for ever diminishing download speeds and never qualifying for any of the lower priced goodies they hold out to potential new customer.Customers Comcast subscribers tend to wish that they had never joined Comcast so that they could either take advantage of the promotional offers to new customers only, or not to have to suffer the exploitation and indifference that Comcast imposes upon its existing customers. This is a company with a virtual monopoly in Baltimore that is utterly uninterested in promoting good customer relations via intelligent communication. They may always get their way with their subscribers, but they will never gain their respect or loyalty--often because they are incapable of--or uninterested in-- understanding the customer viewpoint. At Comcast the only viewpoint that can prevail is that of Comcast itself. Caveat emptor.

worst customer experience ever, called in three times to have a service changed from having TV and keeping the internet, never got fixed, was told that the bill had been changed to the correct amount within 24 hrs called 72 hrs later never got fixed. and for the two years i have had them since their service is the only reliable and barley at that i have had to call several times to see the problem and the only thing done was a modem replacement and it did nothing.

It's not uncommon lately for daily Internet outages to disrupt this household. Between no tv, internet therefore no streaming music or shows, or Mpg, often for hours. It goes in and out multiple times a day. Really can't wait for Google to come in. I had to fill this out and send it 4g, because one again, service is out.

It's been a true pleasure to have stumbled upon your site. I'm getting 110Mbps* consistantly on my laptop (via wireless router that is connected to by cable modem, using a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem and a AC dual band wifi router). * I needed to add a wifi extender to boost the router signal to reach all 3 floors of my home, so these speeds come at some additional hardware costs. But over all Comcast is the fastest provider, and if you like to stream 4K or 8K you tube videos or 4k content on Netflix or 4K Amazon films on the newer line of TV's (4K) then Xfinity is really your only choice.

Comcast by far is the best provider that I have dealt with, the speed, quality overall I trust it over any other provider! For example my boyfriend did not pay the bill on time it was a week late. Well he called up told them the situation why he could not, and they were so kind to not give us a late fee.

Comcast Xfinity says they provide 105mbs in the city of Deming, NM, and that's what they sold me, but in reality it's less than 20mbs where I am. And if you ask the people who work at the Deming Comcast store they'll tell you the absolute highest speed anyone can get in this town is 50mbs tops. Comcast Xfinity does not have 105mbs in Deming, NM 88030.

Xfinity is terrible. If you do not order their premium package they lower your internet speed. I had to lower to basic cable and they dropped my internet speed. I was willing to pay for the higher speed but they said they can't do that. Then I find out that during peak hours in our neighborhood our net slows down tremendously. Why? they only have one line serving all of us. It is a huge racket, they get paid high dollars for shabby service. Their tech support is laughable.

my experience since 2008 has been wonderful i teach homeschool and we have had such a good internet service with comcast and all the employees we have had to talk with. they have such great deals and for the price you pay you get alot for your money, if you need help they have awsome techs they even call you back and pick up your equipment if you have no car for returns. i have tryed other internet services but comcast has so far the best quality and great movies and internet and phone packages for all to try thanks comcast for your time and service dawn

For the time being I have comcast internet. I think it is great that they have internet which you can log onto at many locations. However my internet often gives out and it needs to be reset quite often, which for the price I pay should not be the case. When streaming I do sometimes notice a lag and we will have to what for netflix to buffer, but this does not happen to often.

Xfinity WiFi is fast and excellent service however the price is outraged and alot of hidden charges not mentioned upon signing up for service. The bill has to many additional fees example a public service fee, applicable taxes, state taxes, city of Jax tax....and more nonsense charges. Now I'm looking for another provider.

The speed of connection is very fast, and also consistent. It doesn't slow down on weekends or evenings. We have the most inexpensive internet/cable plan offered, which is still fairly expensive. The service at the actual Xfinity store is great, and I would recommend taking this approach. The customer service offered over the phone is by far the worst I've ever experienced. The product itself is fine.

My service with Comcast has been generally acceptable, but frequent slow-downs and poor download speeds can be frustrating at times. Streaming and regular internet use is usually alright, but heavier downloads are usually throttled very harshly (ie. digitally delivered software) with no other use on the line.

I had Comcast only by need. I had no other options available. I got fed up with terrible customer service. Three blocks in either direction of my neighborhood there are several other options available. The people who have Comcast in those neighborhoods pay a third what the people in our neighborhood pay. I finally cancelled my internet service and have no service at home. I would rather have no internet of form of entertainment than pay Comcast another cent..

They are still billing me even though I no longer live at the address and therefore never received bills, calling corporate was helpful, so I thought. I don't currently have internet at home anymore because it's too expensive for me. I also have only one company that serves my area so my choices are VERY limited. What I did have I only had for three months before deciding to have it disconnected because the speed was so slow and it was constantly going out. I pretty much live in the stone age with no internet or cable. I do think internet access being available for everyone is extremely, especially for the kids.

Overall I like my service. It's super fast and I am able to connect multiple devices at the same time with no lag in speed. My only problem is sometimes I lose connection to the router and need to search for it. But that only happens maybe once or twice a week. Other than that, I'm very satisfied.

While the price is not bad, the speed that I pay for and the speed I get (on a regular basis) are not the same. I will normally get a fraction of the speed advertised and I am paying for the max. The internet only reaches that speed when I am not normally home, like during the middle of the week or early mornings. This very disappointing and has caused me to look for other providers.

I had Comcast's Xfinity product (basic cable + internet) for fifteen months. Internet upload and download speeds were reasonable as was reliability, with few interruptions in internet and cable TV. Pricing was also reasonable. In addition, I was not forced to commit to any contract, and so, could terminate without penalty. The bad news is all with their customer service. In a sentence: the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. During the initial Xfinity set-up, it became a nightmare trying to get informative answers from their reps. They would record my desired preferences in their database and say all is done only to find out that the wrong preferences were set-up. This, despite the rep reading them off to me. I then had call to get things corrected. Of course, I had a different rep and had to re-explain everything. I asked the new rep to simply look at the database entries made by the first rep. Turns out their were none. Worse yet, I kept asking for email confirmations be sent to me. I was told they are not permitted to send me emails. I told them that Comcast has no issue sending me emails about their offerings. Yet their reps are not able to send me confirmation emails about supposedly rendered services. This "he said, she said" process went on for three solid days. I spent twelve plus hours talking to a multitude of reps before we finally got things resolved. Terrible! A month later, my first bill arrived with an over-the-top un-expected total. I again called their service rep and was again led by the nose through this same merry-go-round of reps, each not knowing what transpired during previous conversations. And again without any email confirmations, and so, no way for me to validate nor prove anything I and the rep discussed/agreed on. This was just the beginning. Somehow Comcast then screwed up my account so that I was not able to pay my bills via the web. Turns out they misspelled my name which was linked to my account. It took another round of phone calls with a slew of reps, one of whom knew what had been discussed with previous reps. I soon became so gun shy that I dared not change anything with Comcast lest I have to waste another day going through their confusing and confused reps. Very frustrating!

WORST - SERVICE - PROVIDER - EVER. If it's worst than bad customer support and crappy product you are searching for, then COMCAST is your company. They even tried to rename it to Xfinity to hide the underlaying rot. Do not even contact their customer support in India via Chat. They will only try to upsell. And in my case they updated the setting on my defective cable modem to the point where nothing worked. Very bad actors!

Long-time Comcast customer. Service in general is steady and reliable. Speed is questionable, it was good in the last few years, now it is slow and has a lot of variations in it (sometimes it is fast, sometimes it is slow). Customer service is pretty much non-existent. Often you get to talk to someone who probably speaks English but in a way we do not understand. Inquiries about services and products are mostly not answered or false information is given. Luckily we keep everything in writing.

I have few complaints about the internet service itself. It's fast and it usually performs well. The real problem with Comcast becomes apparent when it's time to contact customer service - it is truly awful. I have spent hours on hold. I have spent hours speaking to one rep after another in an attempt to reach someone that can help me. I have been dogged and harassed by upsellers. And I cannot count on technicians to arrive at the appointed time. If you rarely every have questions about your service and intend to never change your plan, Comcast is fine. If you value customer service, think twice.

My experience over the past year has been absolutely terrible in every way imaginable! I never got the speed that I was paying for and the internet that I did get was never reliable! The service line treated me like a textbook problem, which is understandable, but as a result my problems were never fixed, and there were problems that they couldn't trouble shoot. Ah, Comcast. Everyone slams them, and for good reason... but I'm sure most people have heard all the complaining before, so I'll spare you having to hear it all again. As for my internet, speed is not an issue- When it works. I would have given it another star, but hey, when it cuts completely out, as it does several times a day, the speed is precisely zero. It is almost always less than a minute, but it will drive you crazy when it happens. My brother next door has the same issue, as do other family and friends I know. Combine that with deceptive pricing, and hard sell tactics when dealing with their customer service, and it does not add up to satisfaction. Because they have no real competition(U-Verse? Ha!), they apparently don't really care what I think. Some actual competition would be really, really nice. Alas.

I have comcast ( xfinity) for the last month and since then it has been nothing but problems. - The Internet speed fluctuates enormously all the time!! from the first day. - They schedule my appointment to fix it ( change the modem) for the next week, and did not show up. - When they finally show up (after two weeks of non or bad service) charge me a lot for installation services. - They charge me the deposit twice. - When you try to call them the fastest way to do it is to select the options as if you were a NEW costumer, otherwise it takes forever.

Comcast continually boasts about having fastest Wifi/internet (currently paying for Extreme) however, speedtests inches away from "their" modem I'm lucky to maintain a signal equivalent to the slowest speed package they offer. Techs have been out, lines checked, modems swapped, NO HELP. In-home Techs blame outside line maintenance Techs, of course, they blame construction. Tried to get this poblem corrected for over nineteen months with Customer Service - NO HELP! Can't help but laugh everytime I see their commercials for fastest internet speeds. Currently reviewing Direct TV and sattelite internet provider.

Not impressed. Comcast (currently) has the monopoly in my area. They are constantly pulling shady things like sending me modems even though I have one and then charging me for their mistake. Can't wait for fiber to come my way or to see Comcast change their business practices!

The xfinity bundle that I have is worse than any other service ive ever had. Unfortunately I switched from at&t to comcast xfinity in hopes of better internet service and better channel lineup for tv only to be highly disappointed and let down by the consistant poor internet quality.

The internet service is definitely acceptable. It only goes out once in a while and the issue is resolved within a few hours. They don't charge excessive fees if you pay late. Customer service for technical issues has been great, but trying to pay over the phone when service is cut off is difficult and you get charged a fee. The internet service itself I have no real complaints of, but I do think that Comcast changes prices and adds fees without telling you, and I wish there was some more transparency in that regard.

I've had Comcast/X-Finity internet for a little over a year now. I've never had an issue with the speed until recently. In fact, usually speed tests show I get a little more speed than what I pay for. The problem is the past month I started having issues with it. It was continually dropping. I will say customer service was friendly & quick in sending out a tech, but the techs all wanted to blame my equipment and overall were not helpful at all. It was not my equipment and after a month of spotty Internet, everything is finally running smooth again, although no "issue" was ever found, or not reported to me anyhow. They did offer to credit me (albeit small) for the trouble, and I didn't request that, so that was a nice gesture. When having issues with previous Internet providers that was never offered to me. PRICING is fair. I'd say it's competitive with other companies. Unfortunately it goes up on an annual basis but I believe all do this, and you can always call and ask for any newer specials going on, however not all contracts can be terminated without a fee. I did rate their pricing three stars as I think their fees for equipment rental is much higher than most others out there (based on my own experience)

Comcast works about 80% of the time. During high traffic times it can take minutes to load a single page, I can't say how slow because speedtest.net won't load either.We are on the forty buck plan.This did run really well before we opted for the less expensive plan when the kids moved out and the need for really fast internet was moot. It seem as slow as the old dialup we had twenty years ago. Tech help multiple times has fixed nothing

I have been a Comcast customer for years. I always wanted to switch providers just to experience what the other companies have to offer. But, it was a unanimous family decision to stay with Comcast. Comcast do offer great pricing, but what we get in return is sometimes a downer. We no longer receive and premium movie channels (HBO MY FAVORITE), but we do have a package deal of TV, Cable, and Home phone for the price of one. We can live without the home phone, but my family insisted on taking the deal because they didn't want to pay extra for premium channels. I do have to credit Comcast for their speedy internet service, It still provides a decent upload and down load speed. WE have 5 TV's, 2 computers, 2 gaming consoles, and 4 cell phones all connected to the WiFi in our home.

Xfinity internet is fast and reliable on most occasions; on the other hand, customer service is below expectation. The speed has shown to be proven fast due to the amount of tabs that can be opened without disengaging the accuracy of connection and time to load a webpage. However, customer service is unable to compete with their reliable internet advantage because of long wait times, inability to overcome foreign accent barriers from their employees and under trained customer support; thus, prolonging the time to fix minimal connection issues. The pricing for the type of services has a competitive advantage over other internet providers in the Stockbridge, GA area.

High speed typically not available during peek times. Service frequently disrupted and constantly dropped to lower speed connection. Cost just for high speed internet is the same as an internet bundle including tv (HBO, MAX and STARZ included) and a land line (house phone). They will do anything to keep you from getting HULU I guess. Initial set-up took several months to get fixed. They hire out to contractors who care as little about customer service as Xfinity themselves. Calling the CEO is the only way I could get help. During peek times and on weekends your T-Mobile hot spot will likely be faster and more reliable. Check facebook and read countless more horror stories on their page. Do not get Xfinity.

I believe Comcast is more concerned with making and maintaining a profit than they are with providing excellent service. Sadly, they are the only option where I live. The speeds are never as fast as they imply, even after buying my own router (to avoid their extra rental fee). I cannot wait until something better comes along and overthrows their monopoly.

I've been a Comcast customer for years with the only other choice being AT&T. The speed is fine but the price is way too high and customer service is the worst of any business I've ever done business with. Problems I have are always due to something within Comcast. Recently they added a primary email address to my wife's account without even letting us know, then they began capturing our home phone voice mails. We didn't know this until someone told us they left us a voice mail. When calling Comcast I was on the phone for nearly two hours with someone I could barely understand. I couldn't access our voice mails then they deleted the eleven emails we hadn't heard. They suck!

My household uses a lot of data considering we use the web for almost everything; from music, online games, streams, tv, etc. There is at least 2 different people watching Netflix over 4 hours ago a day. Comcast does not offer unlimited anymore. We pay for our heavy data usage. Comcast speeds very so much. Sometimes they are good but honestly, most of the time, I am getting half of what I am paying for and their customer service is one of the worst. The hold time is enough for me to not want to call them over slow speeds or interruption of service. There is no one else in my area except for Comcast as I am stuck as their customer... and I hate it.

I've found you get the best performance from Comcast when you replace their hardware with something like the Motorola Surfboard DOCSIS 3.0 device. People need to realize that when you use Comcast gear they turn your router into a wifi access point for everyone else to use ,and yes it impacts you. I replaced with the above and I pay for forty mb DL and I get fifty to sixty anytime of the day. DON'T USE their gear, replace it and enjoy proper speeds. They JUST doubled the price of my service so I'll be calling them and if they dont deal with it properly I'll go elsewhere.

There are a few things I do not like about the Comcast services. I only subscribe to one of the basic versions but I still have to go through all the channels they offer just to get to what I want. I just now have the channels I watch on favorite and it weeds out many of the things I don't watch.

We were happy with our service and rate. However, just got the bill and it has jumped to almost twice what is was. We called to find out what happened, and we did not receive an answer. Our only options were to purchase TV service for an additional fee. I am tired of paying for poor service, and I do not want television or a phone! Not only that, but I found a lower priced offer on the Comcast website and selected it to purchase, but they called me back saying that it was not available. I have nothing good to say about Comcast. There is no reason we should be paying these insane fees for something that is necessary in today's world. The rest of the world is laughing at us! And what happened to net neutrality? Aren't we not supposed to have to pay more for better speed? I am one very unhappy customer.

i find that the cost of this service is too high. they are try regularily to push some new something when ever i call with a problem. the wait time is long, the service is generally poor and if you are a latin american speaker ( mexico) i would appreciate an English speaking i can understand. i seem to say' sorry, i dont understand what you just said ' ( frequently!) the servers seem mostly inept, dont know much, ( and i wonder are they working from home? ( as i often hear strange child sounds in the back ground) and after taking up a great deal of time asking redundant question then generally say. ' ill have to connect with another department to which i often reply' why didnt we dop that in the first place?' i have oftyen been put on really long holds as if they are dissing me because i have asked them to repeat themselves as i dont understand their language. i am really tired of comcast nut the other option is verzon which i had and had even more problems with. what to do?????

Have been using Comcast internet for years with very few issues. The only complaint I can speak of is their price. I have the extreme 105 package which is their premium internet only package; however, starting last Month (April 2015) they are running what they call a trial and setting a cap of 300 GB per Month. I have Media players on all 4 of my TV's plus I have 2 Iphones, 2 Ipads, 3 Laptops and 2 Desktop computers in my home. I typically use 550 GB to 650 GB each Month. In Memphis area they are charging extra for each 50 GB over the 300 GB, my bill is already overpriced. I will likely switch providers or go to a slower bandwidth to prevent my household from going over the 300 GB. NOTE: Just like when Comcast increases the cost of their services, this new policy came completely by surprise, no contract, no notice or customer agreement!

Worst customer service experience I have ever endured. 1. withdrew funds from my checking account TWICE per month 2. took many phone calls and three months to correct this 3. Customer Retention promised a specific twelve mth deal then arbitrarily stopped it after Six ths. 4. every single time I called Comcast, I was passed around the office and forced to verify ALL of my information every single time someone new came on the line. 5. my very last phone call to Comcast lasted longer than three hours. I verified all of my information five times. Never, Never, Never will I do business here again. Did I mention never?

I have been with Comcast since it acquired the previous cable company years ago. I have spent thousands of dollars for Comcast service. It used to be excellent. Service has gone down drastically. When I actually have Internet connectivity, it works well, but it's inconsistent and non-existent for days. Customer Service is manned with people with no authority. They simply fill out requests which local technicians ignore. They eventually close requests tickets without any technician visiting your location. Comcast is a mega-sized company that is not capable of real customer service. I work from home and depend heavily on the Internet for my job. I am looking for another Internet provider now. I have wasted too much time and energy trying to work with Comcast. They have created a culture of lies. Do not believe anything you are promised from Customer Service. They are only their to appease and calm you down without providing any real service.

Comcast is the worst. The connection is slow and often drops. Customer Service is even worse. I had a guy come to fix the problem, got charge a lot although comcast offered to send him to keep me as customer but he didn't fix it and didn't know what he was doing. Horrible service. They will charge you for everything they can. I have never had this crappy of internet and tv service. I get better signal turning off the wifi on my phone and using my own hotspot. People through the phone are no help and have no knowledge if anything. I was never compensated for the weeks of no tv or internet even though the people on the phone promised I would be. The person called to fix the cable was supposed to come from twelve o'clock to three and finally came around six pm, but I had a job to be at so I was not there. He left a very unfriendly message for me, asking where I was. I hate comcast and only have it because where I live it is the only service I can have. Try your best to not choose comcast, it is not worth the time or money to deal with them. Give your money to a company who actually cares about their customers.

I have had Comcast for ten+ years and love their great service. They are always so helpful if you call for troubleshooting or change your service. I was having an issue with wiring they set up and they sent a technician within two hrs of my call. That's how much they value their customers! I was happy to come along this sweepstakes entry because I've been struggling financially and could really use this. I'm a single mom with a six year old, twelve month old and three month old! I work as much as I can around taking care of the kids but I can barely afford rent, much less any bills, so I was considering shutting off my service so I dont rack up another bill I'd be unable to pay. I hope I could win this, I would really love this, but good luck to everyone!

When we first move in Puyallup area and got Comcast it was good. I'm talking about the internet service. Never a dropped connection, just when the DHCP lease was up but never noticed. NOW it is very bad with all their upgrades and crippling the internet service I get dropped every day even with the new modem/router. I will not upgrade to get better internet. I'm dropping comcast they are robbers for your money.

Comcast has the best speed available, in my area, hands down. There are no limits on usage, which can't be said for the other ISP in my area. Comcast has decent customer service but their connection goes out at least once every few months. I assume it's the area I live in now because I never dealt with service interruption in the city where I lived previously. The cost is high, but promotions make it reasonable most of the time. If I was consistently paying the advertised, full price, rate I would probably choose a slower, DSL connection because the increased speed would not be worth the increased cost. Overall I've been pleased with Comcast and because of their good internet monopoly in my area, I will most likely stick with them for the foreseeable future.

It's always a fight to get the bills corrected and get them to honor their promotions or price quoted. Be sure you get the name of who you speak to and get it in writing via email at least, and an employee ID to document pricing agreements. The customer service, in relation to this, is the worst I've ever experienced with any company. I wish we had more to choose from, a company that sticks to a fair price and bills simply and fairly, as I have no doubt that many people would switch.

Their On Demand could use a better selection, definitely needs more room on the DVR to save programs, individual prices could be better but of the top used companies they are all the same. The home security should have sensors on the cameras and they still haven't done the dvr/cloud backing as promised. My major issue at this time with them is how messed up my bill always is. They have been messing my bill up since December of two thousand fourteen. When I call I am always on the phone for over an hour and it is hard to actually devote that time to this type of phone call especially when it is a major error every month on their part. When I finally get someone then they can't help me. I get transferred a lot and I am also given a lot of different information. I have to keep calling back for at least a week, every day to finally have someone who knows the actual rules and guidelines and can help with my situation. This has become so annoying that really I should only give a rating of one star but I am fair and know that the home service itself is okay with a few needed adjustments. The wifi is difficult in our house and they have came out on different occasions and added boxes and the extended router that don't work. I just want the quirks worked out.

We've been doing business with Comcast and it "daughter company" Xfinity, if you will, ever since the inception of the businesses, and all of our experiences have been excellent. We've moved three times and Comcast has been with us without missing a beat. We've changed plans from time-to-time, too, and it's always tickled me that the salespeople, in general, are so competent as to move us into a savings without moving the company out of a profitable position. For example, last time I called explaining that since we're retired and on a fixed income, we needed to rein in our spending without forfeiting as much as possible. Oh, the rep said she had just the plan ... and she did! ... excellent pricing ... excellent array of programs ... even some enhancements to our programming. The kicker, if you want to call it that, was that we had to agree to a two- year term. OK. We agreed and are loving it. That sales staff is competent. So are the techies. We rarely have our service compromised, but when we have had reception or speed problems, the problem has been resolved successfully, cheerfully, and immediately; nonetheless, I'm Scotch, and no matter the excellence of the TV and Internet service being provided, I had to survey my Facebook friends to see if there was a better provider out there. Nope. Comcast won -- hands down! Nobody twisted my arm to say these things. This is an up-front and candid review. I thank you for reading it, though, because I might win some free service, and by this time, I'm sure you've figured out that this old lady really likes cashing in on deals! GRIN!

Comcast has very confusing charges on their bill always and is never truly a constant rate that always wavers a few dollars back and forth. I use a Motorola Surfboard ARRIS DOCSIS connected to a Netgear Nighthawk AC. By spending roughly $300 on equipment, I am almost always guaranteed a running internet solution and strong wireless throughout my two story floor. However, Comcast's Xfinity program now includes a leased out modem and router built in one that my friends have told me is not the greatest to use for gaming or movies. Overall, if the customer will purchase their own router and modem, Comcast is definitely worth.

I litterally have this service because I have not other options at the moment. It is the only provider of internet in my area for recidential clients. Of course, they take advantage of this fact, because att & t is not available for internet in my area, comcast acts as kings and basically ignore the customer complains for this area. I have been having the same issue with their lines for two consecutive months and the answer is always we don't know, we will scalate, you wait. How much more do we clients have to wait for a simple technical issue to be resolved? more than two months? but because they don't have any competition in this area so far, they simply don't care what the customer thinks of them. If you have any other internet option, go there first.

Internet is often slow. After the introductory price, it's way too expensive. Unfortunately, not a whole of options for me where I live. It's not the worst, but it's not the best by far.

Xfinity speeds suck, max is speed is slow mbps. also Ive had billing issues since day one of having service and also data usage issues I pay for service at two addresses and one location where I only use for my self for school. my data usage is higher then my home where I have same service and tenX more people using net. its just dumb,

I am being charged double the promised monthly rate, plus an additional monthly modem "rental"- But I own my modem that I purchased myself. I returned the Comcast one(which was provided to me badly used, no packaging, and with an incorrect power block) to their store in person over ten months ago. Their website did not even have it on their accepted modems list, which mine specifically is. Customer service is infuriating. Not only have they not ever straightened out the pricing and illegal rental charge after promising to do so, they constantly pitch "up sell" tactics the whole time I try to deal with them. At the price I am being charged, I would certainly expect much better speed. What's really aggravating is that Memphis has no other option than the woefully slow AT&T "U-Verse", at the same price... err, I mean the price I was PROMISED by Comcast. Unless you want to pay even more for inferior satellite service, of course. No, ladies and gentlemen, Memphis is not a good situation for residential internet, I'm afraid. Hopefully it gets better soon. Very soon.

Comcast is usually a pretty good service. I find the speeds are decent, and for the most part I've had very few issues in personal usage of the service. Excepting area wide issues, it's often not anything to be concerned about.

Comcast has pretty good service, the pricing is good when you first sign up with promotional deals. After those deals are up Comcast prices goes way up and cost more than someones electrical or gas bill a month. Even though they have very good service I would like to see what else is out there for me to compare too.

I have been suitably happy with my Comcast service. The speed has never reached the number of kbps that we pay for, but it works pretty reliably, and we don't have many outages. However, at one point they increased our speed and our bill without notifying us and it was not particularly easy to fix. However, the issue was resolved and since then, our service has been fine.

Reliable internet from Comcast. No interruptions for more than a few minutes usually, and pretty good speed. Price is okay but not great. Also not fun calling the customer service line, as I am normally transferred many times, and often the issue is not resolved on the first call. Price also can sometimes be raised significantly after the more introductory period. I would purchase from them again in the future. They seem to have higher speeds than any other competitors (and there are not too many to pick from). Overall pretty easy to use and work with.

I have been using Comcast for over 30 years or more, I think since they opened up I have been with them, I have had my ups and downs, like sometimes my internet would run slow or my television wouldn't get reception or my phone will go out.. Often they fix it with a signal or sometimes they would have to send someone out to fix the problem, 80% of the time I have had no problem with the person they send but you always get a couple that think they know everything when they don't or the attitude... In total I can honestly say that 90% I am very happy with my Comcast/Exfinity service, I am glad that they are starting to get better working people not only for the outdoors or door to door but also on the phone for you when you need help.. Before 40% could actaully speeak English at least now 70% can and that you can understand what they are saying to you...

My internet is fast and affordable. Recently we have had continuous service interruption, hence four instead of five stars. However, we have been customers for three years and will put up with minor flaws, we are happy to continue our remaining two year agreement and recommend Comcast to everyone.

My internet service with Comcast is spotty. Sometimes I have a really good connection and can do everything I need to do, whether on my smartphone, tablet, or computer. Other times, even when these devices indicate a good connection, I have little success in accessing the information/web pages I need to access.

Horrendous! I've not had internet for more than a month now and I've called Comcast several times and they haven't apologized even once. Neither have they taken any responsibility for fixing it. I scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out which I was told was "guaranteed" and he never showed up - no call either. This is after I told them it was the last chance I will give them before I switch. I wish I could have given negative stars.

I am pretty livid with Comcast after having them for several years. Everywhere I've lived, I've had to put too much effort into getting anyone to come out and look at what's wrong with my service, which has never been reliable. It fluctuates all the time, and I'd rather go with another company, but the options are very limited in my area. If I had the choice, I'd definitely switch providers.

The speed is inconsistent, will go fast at times then a near creep at others. A fair price for monthly service, the service calls give you a very wide time frame "We can book you an appointment, our service technician will be at your home between eight am to noon" (really a four hour time block).

I am very happy with Comcast. Customer Service is Outstanding, and Friendly. Always there to offer help. Their knowledge, doesn't have to be read from a manual, or put you on hold, to get someone else. They offer free full package Norton. Protection, to help your computer run smoother, and virus protection, along with regular fixes. Upgrades are easy, offers many options, to choose from.

I had Comcast service for more than a year now and it was atrocious. The service falls down and i have to restart the modem sometimes every morning. All the costumer service numbers go to India and are unable to help you with any real problems, the bell kept changing every three to six months, I had the performance starter and some times a just get surprised to have a bill that i have to pay before any changes. Comcast was just a nightmare.

Ive been pretty satisfied with my provider from day one of having the service. Its incredibly convenienient, darn reliable and faster than any other ive used before. However i have not been subjected to the cost of the service because it is under my partners name and account. If i were the sole name on the account than i would be burdened with the outrageously high cost of it. Thankfully im not and so i am a happy customer.

Comcast / Xfinity is a TERRIBLE internet provider. Speeds are constantly throttled to less that half of the upload and download speeds promised. Customer service is a complete joke, every time you call them to report one of the NUMEROUS outages they won't stop trying to sell you stuff when all you want is to fix the problem with the "service" you already have. Absolutely worthless and overpriced. Find someone else if you can.

My city has contracts that limit any other provider from bringing internet to the area which means we only have one option- Comcast. Our internet is very spotty and my devices work faster using my cell phone data. They have a cap set on data usage per month and attempted to bill me for going over yet had no previous data usage records for the last three years I've had them when i questioned the accuracy of their meter. It took me two and a half hours and seven people (only two of which speak english as their primary language) to finally give up for the day.

I have Comcast internet at home so I thought it would be great for work. I called Comcast in August of 2014 and they still have not completed the order. They finally came 3 weeks ago to lay the cable but I haven't seen anyone since. They wrote me and said by March 15th for sure. I thought that this would be the end but no, It's March 18th and still no internet from Comcast! This has been the most irritating experience with a cable company in my life. When you ask for home service they are out there almost immediately but Business.....forget it. If there was someone else that we could get in our area I would!!!!

Comcast had service that was dependable. I had to turn the box off and on to fix the connection a few times during the year and I'm not sure if that even has anything to do with the service. Their price was a lot cheaper than other services. The speed seemed fast to me also. They started with a promotional rate for one year then increased the price. The only problem I had was that they didn't warn you when the end of the term was coming. So you thought it was going to be one price but it was another.

Excellent service with the X-one Platform. Very rare to have outages in my area. I have the fastest mps offered which is amazing when used with an Ethernet connection, wireless is wireless not as fast but definitely not slow. Customer service is big corporate style which we all should get used to as with all other companies. Offered me an iPad mini to switch from AT&T Uverse. Never received? Customer for over a year now. My first months payment was mind blowing, which that does include the Xfinity Home security basic package, with one camera that was offered free. But due to my first payment posting one day after the due date, that I paid on the due date via their website, but due to the time of day paid which was deducted immediately from my checking account but posted the next day. Caused me to lose the offer of the iPad mini. I have both the mini and the new style Air ipad so no big deal. Just the idea of it. And my payment per month under a two year contract, is absolutely ridiculous and that does not include every premium channel offered just HBO and HD channels with an amazing DVR system on one television.

I have been a customer of Comcast since the early nineties. I have the internet, phone and tv. I use their equipment-router-modem-two boxes and three extentions. For the first fifteen years their service, equipment, and cost were very poor. The last few years the speed and service have been very good and I could recommend them on those. The continued rising prices are basically pushing a lot of people away to another provider. That is really unfortunate, since I believe Comcast has really improved as a company. If they had a public relations person who really listened to customers they would find that all people really want is good service, speed and fair pricing. The continued juggling dollars for bundles is ridiculous. They should set a price for two years and stay with that. They should also take care of customers who stayed with them for the past two decades, through their terrible times.

I no longer have service just to many problems I was always having problems with the phone & internet.The service wasn't dependable was always having to call for technical help interest speed slowed to the point it was impossible to do anything .My bill was never what I agreed to not that it would have made a difference To much headache to be fair I have tried others had all the same problems I now watch Tv with antenna use ceil data for phone & internet Internet works as good as it did with Internet service and have ceil anyway

Comcast Xfinity monthly Internet usage allowances are too low. With gaming, video streaming and social media, the average family can easily exceed the allowance. My family exceeds it within the first two weeks of the month, and doubles it by month end. Xfinity benefits by charging fees for the overage while loyal paying customers gets penalized.

The speed is great. The set up took two bungled days of delivery not being when they said. Once it was set up the modem wasn't working. It took speaking to a supervisor to finally get someone to believe that we needed a new one. Once we got a new connection it's been very nice ever since, I never have problems downloading or uploading any file or video, etc. Very pleased with the product, the service has been trying at times.

I currently have Comcast high speed internet. Although this internet is good for streaming movies and has very good speed, it is really too expensive. However, it is the only high speed internet available in my area, so I have no choice but to go with it. I wish Google high speed internet was available in Chicago. Another complaint I have about it is that it doesn't really send a good signal throughout my condo unit.

We have had Comcast for years. For the most part the fee stays the same though it seems a bit high for internet service. One time they called and offered to bundle the package to save on the monthly bill. We still had satellite for TV. At one point they sent equipment because of the bundle situation. We tried to return it to the cable office which was a huge hassle because of the location since we had satellite TV. We no longer "bundle" but pay a bit more for just internet. We rarely have interruptions and it seems to work rather quickly.

Living in a house with multiple devices, the internet speed is only good if you are right next to the router. Also if one person is streaming a video, no one else can use the internet or it will slow down the streaming. I work from home and it is very difficult to have to work in the same room where everyone is watching TV just because that is where the router is.

Comcast is a good company, in general terms. When the bills begin to pile up, that's when it gets hectic. Internet, Cable, and Phone bundles are pretty cheap, but it's hard to pay off the bills I owe. The prices increase each month it seems, and it could be better pricing. Obviously free is amazing but... The router they included isn't as fast as it should be... My one child has a computer using wireless internet and he has very weak connections, losing them often. I have a girlfriend with a son who lives with us, and he uses the internet. He also complains about the slow and/or easily interrupted connections. I cannot use the computer as someone else is too or else everyone slows down.

I do have Comcast for couple of years. It is always ease to communicate with customer service representatives. All of them are nice and helpful. I also like internet service. Even if service gets disconnected your employees try to fix it as soon as possible. Thanks for the great service!

The service and support is what leaves something to be desired with our internet provider. Whenever there is an issue, many hours are spent in attempt to correct. The speed overall is sufficient and meets our needs as does the pricing for the most part. We've definitely had worse than Comcast, there is just room for improvement.

I like Comcast for the speed. I get 30Mbps pretty steadily. I'd however love to drop them do to the fact they they are trying to data cap and charge overages for consuming more than a specified amount of data. As I've reached that and gone over multiple times. A cap of less that 600GB for a full family streaming games and videos just isn't fair in this day and age.

It seems the data speed varies, phone reception gets garbled sometimes and TV seems to be the least problematic. I see rates increase regularly; when I phone to revise my plan to accommodate my budget, suddenly I get the same service with a decrease. I am tired of the game.

We've had Comcast for a little of a year at our house and the experience hasn't been the best. The speed is okay and about what I would expect for any internet provider, but the service and price is what kills me. We've been overcharged several times and we they assure us that our account will be credited, it rarely happens and we keep having to call back. It's been very frustrating and we're switching with our contract is up.

I had to take my finals at college with no internet at home because of Comcast customer service and tech service. So I spent a lot of time at the library while my parents paid for Comcast internet that would only work when it wanted to, not much. Over two months later and the problems are still there. Comcast's biggest problem seems to be their overseas support teams. They just can't understand the English language. And there seems to be no way to contact anyone in the United States to take care of the problem. If Comcast brought all their support teams to the United States I'm positive it would be a great company. But as of now it simply is not reliable at all.

Typically I have decent speed, the pricing is a bit more than I'd like since I have no interest in any other service offered in a "bundle" and so I pay more for just the internet (which is my biggest complaint). The few times we've needed to call for service was due to storm damage and we received very quick maintenance to repair the issues.

I am a senior living on a fixed income. With Comcast they don't give a senior discount. Yet they have kept increasing the cost of internet to me even when advertising lower monthly rate. They say I can't get that because I'm not a new customer. I feel that a company that big should be able to offer a better rate to seniors on a low fixed income.

Comcast has the fastest speed in my area, but they are also the priciest and their service has been somewhat lackluster. It was a very difficult process to get the internet up and running. They had to send out several different employees over the span of a couple of weeks before the issue was identified and solved. I enjoy the product, but I don't feel like I'm important as a customer.

Speeds are good. Reliability is good. Customer services is only passable. I own my modem, rather than rent. It's more cost-effective for me. I received an e-mail from Comcast informing me that I needed to upgrade to a new modem. When I called to register my new modem, my call was disconnected several times and had to keep calling back. The only way the system would stop disconnecting me was when I agreed to complete the survey after the call was over. I love the Internet service, but hate the company.

I can only afford basic cable through this provider. Their packages that include additional cable channels and internet access are just not affordable. I am also not pleased with their introductory pricing schemes that give you one rate for a short time and then dramatically increases after a year.

I decided to cancel my previous internet provider so I could have the convenience of one bill one provider and it was the worst mistake ever. Im paying WAY too much for internet and cable when the internet barely works half the time. Had a technician come out to check the lines to find out that the original guy that installed my cable not even my internet installed the splitter wrong so there wasn't much juice going to modem. Have called and called and called about fixing it and just finally gave up. Going to find a new cable and internet provider that is allowed at my complex and cancelling Comcast the first chance I get

It was a decent price for the week, yet the speed was awful. We were lucky if you could download two things at once. It was almost like we were on dial-up days when it was the only thing you could get. I was not impressed and will likely not get this wifi again. I did not mind getting the hard-wired version, but not the wifi version. I need faster internet for my job and it would have to be reset all the time.

I have Comcast in my area and have had it for over a year now. The customer service when I first signed up was terrible - I spent an hour on the phone signing up after I couldn't do it online. Then found out the order never went through! I had to call again and they didn't want to give me the online price discount. They finally did but instead of a year contract it was only six months (I discovered this when I noticed my bill went up). I called back and got another "deal" and it too was supposed to be for a year but found out again in six months it wasn't. I got another "deal" (this time the price went up a little) but I did finally get a year service. I have only lost service maybe for a couple hours one time so I have been happy with that aspect of it.

The high speed internet is fast and pretty reliable. The equipment is not awesome. I prefer to have my own equipment - especially for wi-fi. When the internet service goes down, which is not often, I get super irritated with the Comcast support team. They seem to say conflicting things and give vastly different time frames for correcting the issue.

I think Xfinity/Comcast is one of the best internet service providers out there today. They are always improving on their speeds and making their service so much faster and easier to use. I have never had a problem in the service and have never been kicked off line. Their customer service is also second to none. Comcast is about the only Wi-Fi available in our area of Lehi at the moment that has high enough speed to run both an ipad and a streaming tv at the same time. I admit however that their customer service sucks. Most of the time, you are calling somebody who can't speak English in another country somewhere and they don't know what is going on. Our choices are limited. Prices are way too high too.

Comcast high speed internet is good, but not excellent. When it is working correctly, it's great. However, there are frequent 'slow-downs' when the speed becomes snail-like. There are also occasions when I am filling out an on-line form, everything freezes and I get an error message which asks me to check if I am connected to the internet. After anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, everything resumes and proceeds as normal. I have called customer service and reported this problem. And this is after I have performed all the actions that I have been told to do numerous times before. When the person I reach about the current problem tells me to do theses actions, I tell them I have already done them. But they only tell me to do them again. When I have called about an actual interruption of service, they seem to insist that the problem is not theirs. They tell me there have been no reports of an interruption in my area. But am I not reporting an interruption of service in my area. The only reason I have not switched to another provider is because Comcast sends repair people out within a day or two. The other major provider in my area has a minimum of a ten-day wait (at least for their phone service), which is unacceptable.

Customer service by phone system is difficult to navigate. programmed voice asks "how can we help you?" After an answer it asks "What about ________ do you want to know?" Then it doesn't understand what I say. Adds more equipment requirements every so often.

I don't really have a problem with the actual service that I am receiving from Comcast and I love supporting a Philadelphia based company. My big concern with them, as most people, is their customer service. The professionalism on the phone when dealing with customers is sub par at best.

I've had no major issues since switching back to Comcast (from AT&T Uverse). The performance and reliability is much better than Uverse is (or was) at the time. Pricing is comparable (one of the reasons I switched back), though I'm not sure that is either a plus or a minus. The only issues that I have encountered have been during the weekday, though they have not been major issues, but they are concerning when I'm working from home (VPN, softphone, VDI...). All in all, I would suggest Comcast's services in my area in as a whole they are providing the best service.

I have had Comcast for years now. I have chosen the bundle when I first brought my house based my previous experiences three years prior having them, but relocating to area that they did not service. A year ago I decided to work second full-time job, which required internet that was reliable and fast. Since starting and having the increase need for the internet, there hasn't been any slack from my provider and I never realized how fast internet service they really provide until I depended on it for a pay check. I never lost any service due to any outages with Comcast and wouldn't trade companies because they have great customer service.

I love Comcast they have never done me wrong as long as I have been with them. I currently get my internet and cable tv services from them. I love the fast internet I never have to worry about it buffering or going out on me. On Demand has had to have been one of my favorites, being able to pick and choose what I want to watch has been great, not to mention the prices with them have been phenomenal! They don't try to cheat you like other dealers often do. I would never switch! LOVE COMCAST-Xfinity!

I have comcast. Im overall happy with the internet, few issues. I am a former ATT customer and that was a nightmare. I'm much happier with Comcast's billing procedures and love the fact I can use an app to pay the monthly bill.

My internet is not the fastest but I seem to be paying way too much. Customer service is good, they quickly address the problem, but I find myself adding on more services just to get a six month discount and when that ends I am in same boat as I was with paying too much for internet that cuts out quite often.

Comcast has been my choice for a few years now. Their service is the fastest I have experienced, and their customer service is usually straight to the point and helpful. If you need bill extensions, they're more than happy to accommodate. The only issues I have had with them have been with customer service, getting a bill extension and paying half of my bill only for my service to be shut off less than 48 hours later, and then a technical issue with channels not being available in another room. When their tech did not solve the problem, they were out two days later and fixed my service.

Comcast can get pretty expensive - little things add up e.g. additional cable boxes or modems. Their service is speedy; however, they'll always try to up your current bill. There's ways of lowering your internet/phone/television bills and it'd be best to utilize that.

I have always been happy with my internet service, especially the speed of the wi-fi. It's faster than the internet at some of my friends' and family's houses. It allows me to use my smart devices but save on my data usage when I'm at home. By bundling services I am also saving money.

I love the speed that I get from Comcast. There is no way to beat it in our area. I don't love that I have to jump through hoops every year after they raise my bill. It's also really hard to get a service tech to show up. The last time took me a week of phone calls and broken promises. I hope that Comcast would change some of their policies and find a better way to schedule their appointments. They offer a good product- but there is much room for improvement.

In the beginning our Internet went out a lot because we live in the middle of no where. They have worked out all the kinks and increased the speed and it is definitely a lot better. A much better choice than Century Link which is the only other provider in our area.

I certainly can't complain about my speed which is very fast. However, my service goes down frequently. It can last a few minutes to several hours. It goes down for at least a few minutes nearly every day. Additionally, they recently began implementing a data cap. If you go over the cap you have to pay for additional data usage. If you stream a lot of shows and movies on Netflix, you are going to hit the cap pretty fast. Finally, the customer service is very spotty. You can call and get a great representative that you can understand, or you can get someone with a thick accent that doesn't ever understand what you are asking for and begins shifting you from one department to the next, ultimately forcing you to call multiple times and waste hours of your life to get your problem solved.

I have been a customer of Comcast for about 5 years now and couldn't imagine ever switching internet providers. In all the years i have been with them i have only had service interruptions when the power would go out from a storm. I have a large household and everyone loves to stream content and never once have i gotten charged for using too much data. The only thing i wish they could change is lowering the price a little bit but i do feel the price you pay is worth the service you get with Comcast.

Comcast offers decent speed but they need to improve on Customer Service and Pricing. Where I live they charge an arm and a leg for their internet service even when you bundle. They need to train their customer service reps to be more knowledgeable about their products and to not read pre-screened scripts to customers with issues.

Comcast is an okay Internet provider. Sometimes we have to wait for our videos to load to watch. I do not like the price. It is cheaper to bundle with cable. We were looking to take cable off and they told us that it would be cheaper to continue with cable and internet, rather than just have internet. Don't know if that was true or they were just trying to keep me as a customer with both internet and cable. We are looking right now at some other options.

Overall, I have had a pretty good experience with Comcast. I have only experienced a few outages over a few years. The speed is reasonable compared to the maximum promised, especially since we all generally use WiFi. The service has always left some to be desired. The representatives do not usually seem to be very knowledgeable and often have a condescending tone when something is not working (even if it is out of my control).

Comcast is too pricey. I have Cable, Phone and Internet. I also buy the boost for the internet but I'm not sure it's doing any good. I have wifi as well as wired and the wired computer runs great buy sucks the juice to the wifi. My cable box wires is awful my TV cuts in and out.

As long as I was paying for cable and internet every thing was FINE! about 13 years, in November 2013 I got a different cable company but kept Comcast internet. Even though the price for internet doubled, Our internet is very spotty, at least while we're awake. I would not recommend Comcast to anyone.

I have been a customer of Comcast on and off for a few years now. The initial 6 month discount is great, once that time passes the price practically doubles. The customer service isn't very helpful and they start calling your phone approx 1 week before your bill is due. They also call often attempting to sell service packages. The phone calls are disturbing and the price can get too high but their internet is faster than most in my area.

Comcast has gotten much better over the past few years. Service outages are very rare now. I called a few months ago to downgrade my service and was told about a package deal that would let me keep my current service and pay less. You must call, however, to find out about these offers. They're not listed on their website.

Comcast internet can be really fast at times, but I've had connection issues frequently where I'm unable to connect and/or the internet is really slow. The price is extremely high in my opinion, specially if you combine it with a TV package. I've tried most of the other services available, and Comcast speed is definitely the best (even based on price). Customer Service sometimes is amazing, other times it has been mediocre.

Overall, I have to say that Comcast/Xfinity does win out in terms of speed and service. Whenever I've had an issue requiring a visit, the technician is usually out to my place with 24 to 48 hours. And, after one particular visit, he spent half a day totally rewiring the house to get better output (old lines, lines too long, too many splitters, etc.). As for pricing, the issue is more of what I have to pay overall for the bundle, which I think is far too high. The culprit there is really cable tv.

I had to subscribe to Comcast (Xfinity) internet service because no other carrier covered my house. Well after the intro price expired the priced almost doubled. The internet also tends to slow down quite a bit during busy times. I can't wait for Google Fiber to finally get to Salt Lake City.

Me and my husband have been with Comcast a little over a year now and for the most part it's been pretty good. We haven't had too much of a problem with their customer service compared to other service providers, Although for some reason things seem to work out better when i talk to them rather than my husband. So sometimes you might have to be a little assertive with them. They've always gave refunds when we were not charged right on the dates they said they would and they've always tried to explain things that go wrong to the best of their abilities so customer service with them is actually very nice. Their High speed Internet works great and the wireless modems they have available work very well to! Overall very satisfied with the service and "product" received from them!

We have always been happy with our service (15+ years) and services at 2 houses. Dealing with the local office has always been pleasant getting any changes needed to our account. Outages have been minimal and speed has always been great.

I constantly find myself stuck in a century that feels like dial-up connection when trying to do my school work. The internet has been lagging lately, and not to mention the hold on Netflix. The pricing is good, don't get me wrong, but I expected it to be as fast as they stated to me when describing the connection.

I switched back to Comcast after my Fios bill got too high. Not thrilled. Its slow and goes out several times per day.

I love the speed of my internet. Have had one short outage, maybe for 15 or so minutes. Customer service is slow when you go to pay your bill or call them on the phone. Otherwise love Comcast!

Great, fast, internet. Always works and never have to worry about it being down like friends have told me about their service. Price is fair. Company is 24 hour customer service if there is a problem. Great friendly customer service. Local office in most city or states for walk in drop off/ pick ups or questions. Can also pay bills over the phone, on the internet, or in person. I have had comcast for 20+ years and love it

I have had Comcast XFinity in my current location now for two years. I have only had one outage caused by Comcast in that time and otherwise have had very reliable coverage. I also have the highest speed they offer and it works well with two computers, two smart phones, and a smart TV. Although my streaming on my TV can be a bit spotty I attribute it to the location of my wireless router more than to the service provided by Comcast. Biggest downside is their pricing.

Xfinity/Comcast internet is average service. My speed is slower than I believe it should be but I have nothing to compare it to. My internet price package seems a little high for my not so fast speed but customer service tells me I have fast speed.

I have been a customer of Comcast for years for internet and they seems to be good, we rarely have an outage, the internet speed is quick which is very nice!! The pricing is a tad high in my opinion, but they do run specials that I seem to always get in on, so that helps the cost tremendously. All in all I recommend Comcast!!

I'VE BEEN A COMCAST SUBSCRIBER FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND OVERALL, THE SERVICE IS BETTER THAN EVER. FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS WE HAVE HAD EQUIPMENT ISSUES ONLY ONCE. SERVICE TO REPLACE THE EQUIPMENT WAS FAST AND VERY HELPFUL. WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY INTERUPTIONS OF SERVICE EVEN DURING STRONG STORMS. IN THE PAST, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COMMON. THE INTERNET SPEED IS FATASTIC AND I DON'T THINK ANY OTHER CABLE COMPANY CAN BEAT IT.

The internet is usually fast, but occasionally during the "peak hours" it can get slow and spotty. The TV channels available sometimes go in and out and sound can be lost, however, it fixes itself and recordings record it perfectly even with the video/audio problems. Overall very satisfied only because of the price point. I feel as if i were being charged $15-20 more, I wouldn't be as happy.

Internet speed is outstanding. We have very few problems with internet going out, and no problems with multiple devices on the wireless. Cost is a bit high, but it's the only hi-speed provider in the area. We haven't had to call for service, so I can't really review that aspect.

Decent for everyday use of the web, a bit expensive unless you qualify for their bundling value packages, which are usually available for new customers for the first six months of their use. You can call after your promotional period to see if you qualify for other deals. Customer reps are helpful.

I have been a customer of Xfinity for 1 1/2 years. I have had many problems with my internet connection but Xfinity has come when they said they would come and attempted to fixed the problem. At this point, we believe it is the apartment building. We are trying one more option.

Comcast is a really good provider. I use multiple devices at once (TV, phones, tablets, etc.) and our internet doesn't skip a beat! If you're looking a reasonably priced, high speed, internet with outstanding customer service, look no further! Comcast is the one.

Comcast has a fast internet speed. The business side is what I use it is much faster than the normal resident speed. They are over priced because they are the only available service in my area. The customer service is not that great.

We are pleased with the service we receive from Comcast. The channel assortment is good for the tier we ordered. We also really enjoy most shows being free On Demand. The customer service department has been very accommodating whenever we needed a service call. They also have an office that is conveniently located that I was able to go when I needed to replace a remote.
