We received several text messages of outages and delays in restoration work. We never checked and assumed service had been restored. When we finally checked, there were no lights visible on the equipment. We then contacted the company and were told a tech would need to come see the equipment before we could get them to research and make the necessary adjustment despite us having informed them we were canceling the service. They made no note of that in our records. After the tech was a no show the first time, the next time he showed and confirmed the equipment was inoperable. Because we were canceling the service, we were told no research to adjust our bill would be made. The ability to determine the amount of data being sent and received through the modem is easy to determine, and would confirmed we received no service for months but continued to pay our monthly commitment. Instead, we were told the company sell subscriptions not service. I was shocked! how unethical!! Thieves
