Bossier City Residential Internet Coverage

Just east of Shreveport is Bossier City, a community of over 68,000 residents. This is one of the largest cities in Louisiana, offering residents and visitors tons of exciting attractions, events, and amenities. Looking for high speed Internet that fits your needs and your budget? Check out options on this page.

AT&T is accessible in every single part of Bossier City, which is why it's such a popular choice for those who live in this area. The network reaches Brownlee in the north, Elm Grove in the south, Traffic in the west, and Oakland in the east.

If you're interested in cable, you could have access through Xfinity. Xfinity doesn't quite reach every part of Bossier City, but those in the city's western neighborhoods enjoy service. This company is one of the fastest cable options available.

Suddenlink Communications is another useful cable option in the Bossier City region. The network reaches the entire eastern half of Bossier City.

As soon as there is another internet service provider in my area. I am gone from Suddenlink. I'm even seriously considering satellite internet (even as spotty as I know satellite internet can get, it might be worth it) I reset my modem at least once a week. (I have a more expensive modem than the piece of crap the rented me. Because what they rented me I had to reset EVERYDAY!) Fluctuations in speed day to day. Never any satisfaction from costumer service. They charge me twice sometimes and I have to fight to get my money back, every damn time. Takes 2 or 3 days to get my money back. Prices keep going up. A LOT! If you have a different option I would suggest taking it.

Horrible customer service, account and billing statements differ from service being provided not to mention employees with an attitude. Wish there was more competition and better services to choose from, specially when it comes to internet.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
