Orlando Residential Internet Coverage

The small city of Alafaya is home to a growing population, which has led many Internet service providers to establish networks in this area. Depending on whether you are looking for commercial or personal Internet service, explore the options listed on this page to find the plan that is best suited to your needs.

AT&T is a popular choice for those in Florida, since it offers two services to most of the state. Through AT&T, you can choose either DSL or fiber optic Internet service. Combined, these two services cover the entirety of Alafaya, ensuring that residents have multiple options.

CenturyLink is starting to build up their network in the Alafaya area. In coming years, CenturyLink could become available in the entire city.

Those interested in cable often turn to Xfinity. Xfinity service is available primarily in western Alamaya.

Another ISP with a huge service area is Summit Broadband. This company offers consistent service throughout the entire city of Alafaya. The same is true for Brighthouse Networks.

I had to cancel service due Your lack of service. They cheat on the speed. When you call them all of a sun, you get full speed. The next day is the same thing. Wolfram buffering. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I disconnected my service and instead of pro rating the 10 days. They charge you a Whole30 days even though you have no service. Beware of their scam

I was having trouble with my set up and I called in to get Jemel from Louisville. He was super helpful and got me through the process with only a few set backs, none on his end. I just wanted to thanks for the help.

Methodology

HighSpeedInternet.com compares internet providers within cities and metro areas to give customers the most relevant insights into their internet options. When comparing providers, we consider the following:

  • Provider coverage areas
  • Advertised speeds
  • Real-world speeds (speed test data)
  • Customer feedback
  • Other relevant localized data

We source localized coverage data displayed on our coverage maps from the FCC coverage database, which is updated every six months. For the most current summary of providers in your area, we recommend you use our zip code search tool, which offers the most recent coverage data straight from internet service providers (ISPs).

Our city overviews compare advertised provider speeds. We may also include real-world speed data gathered from millions of annual speed test results. To process our speed test data, we first filter out outliers and providers with low test counts. We then calculate speed averages with every ISP subject to the same parameters.

We gather ISP customer feedback data from our comprehensive annual surveys and direct customer feedback submitted to HighSpeedInternet.com. Unless stated otherwise, average ratings are calculated nationally.
