Glendale Residential Internet Coverage

Within the city of Glendale, numerous internet service providers make commercial and residential plans available to customers.

One of the main providers in this area is AT&T, which brings both fiber coverage and DSL coverage to the city. The DSL network reaches the entirety of Glendale, from the northern neighborhoods of San Gabriel Mountains and Crescenta Highlands to the southern areas of Tropico and Adams Hill. Though the fiber network isn_t quite as expansive as the DSL network, it still covers a sizable part of Glendale.

Through Frontier Communications, a handful of Glendale neighborhoods enjoy access to high-speed service. Service is limited to northern neighborhoods, including Verdugo Woodlands, Emerald Isle, San Rafael Hills, and El Miradero.

On the flip side, Time Warner Cable offers high-speed coverage to the southern and far western areas of Glendale. Coverage is available south of Glenwood and in the western neighborhoods of Grandview and Riverside Rancho.

The Charter network is fairly similar to the Frontier Communications network. It reaches the central areas of Rossmoyne and Fremont Park, extending north to the northernmost point of Glendale.

Throughout Glendale, selected neighborhoods can choose New Edge Networks. Service is available in the western areas of Grandview and El Miradero, dropping off and then picking up in the central areas of Citrus Grove and Greenbriar. There is another gap in coverage before the network reaches the eastern areas of College Hills and Verdugo Woodlands.

And finally, the Sonic.net network is fairly expansive, covering the vast majority of Glendale.

Reliable and cheap if bundled with wireless. I've had 50/10 AT&T Uverse for years and only recall the internet going out once because of a power station overloading. They have not offered fiber on my street though, even though the rich area up the hill has it. Before AT&T I had Charter Spectrum which would go out randomly at least once a month while getting more pricey. Charter offers fiber in my area but no way am I going back to them.

The bill is very high and the quality is very poor. The internet is coming and going every day. A non-reliable provider. I am going to change it asap.
