In addition to faster speeds, Viasat Unleashed comes with unlimited data. That’s a good deal for satellite internet, which has long had the most restrictive data caps around. Data caps make you pay for extra data if you want to use more than your allotted amount—fees can add up fast. Viasat Unleashed helps you avoid unexpected costs and keep your monthly bill under control.

Of course, if you only use your internet connection for checking email and paying bills, you might be able to save some money by going with the Viasat Essentials plan, which has a data cap of 150GB. With the slower speeds, it’d be pretty hard to use up that much data in a month anyway, but you will be a lot more restricted when it comes to activities like watching online video.

Finding affordable internet in rural areas is difficult, so it pays to look for discounts and promotions. If you don’t have access to reliable fiber or cable providers in your area, Viasat is probably the best value you can get from a satellite provider. Just make sure that you take fees, contracts, and data caps of the plans you’re comparing into account before making your decision.
