Astound Internet already offers some of the best prices you can find on fast fiber internet, but it’s making the deal even sweeter between now and the end of September.
New customers in eligible areas can get 1Gbps internet for just $30 per month, and the price is good for a year. The offer comes with unbeatable perks:
A gift card worth up to $300
A free Unlimited line from Astound Mobile for a year
Included Wi-Fi equipment
A free Self-Installation Kit
A risk-free 30-Day Test Drive
Astound released a press release about the back-to-school pricing, calling it Boston’s Best Gig Deal. However, the low prices could be available in other service areas.
The best way to find out if you’re eligible is to visit Astound Internet and enter your exact address.
Are Astound’s standard prices a good deal?
Yes, Astound offers exceptionally low prices throughout its service area, with a history of great pricing. It won our annual award for Best Value in 2025, and tied for fourth place in 2026, just half a point behind our national winner.
Even if you don’t qualify for the back-to-school deal, you could qualify for an Astound promotion that offers 1Gbps internet speeds for just $45 per month, with a lifetime price lock and $200 gift card. If you only want to lock the price for a year, the rate drops to $40 per month.
Here’s what you can expect to pay if you aren’t in a promotion area:
| Plan | Price* | Download speed |
|---|---|---|
| 300 Mbps Internet | $30/mo. for 12 mos. | Up to 300Mbps |
| 600 Mbps Internet | $45/mo. for 12 mos. | Up to 600Mbps |
| 1000 Mbps Internet | $60/mo. for 12 mos. | Up to 1,000Mbps |
* Availability and speed may vary by location, and prices are subject to change. See disclaimers.
Does Astound offer low-income internet?
Yes, qualifying customers in the Astound footprint can get 50Mbps home internet for just $9.95 per month through the Internet First program. You can double the speed for just $19.95 per month, and your first month is free.
Standard Wi-Fi equipment and a modem are included with the service plan price, and you can qualify if you participate in a national assistance program, such as Medicaid or the National School Lunch Program. Students participating in certain federal student aid programs also qualify.
