In June 2023, I signed a two year price lock for my internet, since then my rate went up two times in less than a year, when I call to ask about the rate increase and that I have a price lock for 2 years, I get these excuses that my rate is the same , it’s “OTHERS” things that went up like maintenance or so other internet factor, my bill almost doubled in less than a year and I have a price lock. Stay away from Astound they will lie about their pricing and price lock.

Incredibly unethical and dishonest behavior from this company. Multiple times within my 5 years of being a customer did they promise me a rate for 12 months and then raise it within the first few months of that contract. The response would be “a promo you were under has ended”. Not once would they tell me this when I would ask why and then have to renegotiate my rate. I have screenshots of each time their CS told me I was locked in for 12 months at a rate. Multiple times this happened. I’m not sure how this isn’t illegal.

Terrible. Changed our phone number without us knowing! My husband gets very few of his regular emails. Have called numerous times over last week and nothing has changed.

Their Evo converter provides terrible access to cable TV. And only one can be connected - so the remote has to be passed around to different users. I recommend going elsewhere if possible.
