Horrible service period. Always high latency, frequent outages for hours and the cost for this crap service is ridiculous. The Mediacom engineers are pathetic, burned up 3 routers before we discovered they did not properly ground the connection.

Frequent interruptions of streaming making video conferences important without interruptions. Speed checks and service and equipment checks all appear fine. The only reasonable cause is faulty, inconsistent bandwidth. Very frustrating for any activity that requires consistent signal strength.

I have trouble with the Internet staying on. It goes off and on sometimes and they want 40.00 to make a service call. I'm about to try the new Internet company that just came to Town.

The Media com office staff at the end of my block have horrendous Internet service as well. Allegedly, they are upgrading to optical. It has been 2 months with about 75% service. It seems to me there should be a discount for poor service. I have been a customer for years and this is the Worst I have ever seen. See once I stream TV, I am cut off most of the time with the constant buffering. Not good!

Horrible customer service. Extreme latency, packet loss and jitters. No good for online cad use or gaming. For movies and general browseing then you would be paying too much. 8 Service visits, only one technician actually fixed anything. Annual price hikes.

Our development is stuck with Mediacom due to builder relationship with Mediacom. The service provided, and the speed provided is absolutely horrendous and we have been complaining to them for years. They honestly don’t care and raise rates constantly. We have Internet only and it goes up monthly. strictly Internet is up to $130/MONTH!! RIDICULOUS!!

They are VERY lucky there is only 1/2 star as the lowest rating. I have had Mediacom for about 4 years and EVERY single summer there are endless issues with connectivity, upload speed, and customer service. They are always threatening to charge me service fees to come and fix the connections that they put in. The customer service is terrible and I have to wait 3-10 days for some appointments. If there were any other decent options to switch to I would gladly pay 10 times the monthly rate just to get out of this terrible internet service provider. There is absolutely no good reason to ever use their service. I wish I had any other option for gaming and smart home speeds. I have had tech visits over 30 times and they always "have work orders around town" or "it must be an inside-the-house problem". I have three wifi 6 hot spots that I own and a top-of-the-line modem that cost $200 by itself. I have invested over $1000 in internal wifi components to ensure that it is not an internal problem. I have also had a friend who is in cyber security come and check and confirm that all of my equipment is up to date, running properly, and hooked up correctly. If there is any way that you could find ANY other provider for your home internet service PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES, ISSUES, AND COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE SERVICE.
