Wilmington Residential Internet Coverage

In the northernmost part of Delaware, you_ll find the city of Wilmington and its many established internet service providers.

Those who enjoy the speed of fiber internet benefit from Verizon Fios, which is available in nearly all of Wilmington. The network is expansive, running from Brandywine Hills in the north to Southbridge in the south. The Verizon DSL network is similar, making it easy for customers to choose a plan that suits their needs.

Another impressively sized network in this city comes from Windstream, which reaches all of Wilmington's northern, southern, and central neighborhoods.

High-speed cable coverage is offered by Xfinity. Xfinity covers key central areas like Trinity, Cool Spring, Upper East Side, and Brandywine Village, as well as outlying Wilmington neighborhoods.

Through Level 3 Communications, most of Wilmington can access high-speed service. Some central neighborhoods are excluded, like Happy Valley, Trolley Square, and West Hill.

In addition, the Megapath network is expansive in central and western Wilmington, but excludes the eastern neighborhoods of Riverside and Eastlawn.

It is really sad to see that they take more care of new customers than they do existing. I’ve been a customer for over 2 years now and now my bill went up $20 over the past 2 months. I called customer service to see if they could do anything and they said there was nothing they could do. I went online and saw all these deals for new customers only. I got a quote from Verizon and the same plan would be $40 cheaper. I gave them an opportunity to help me but even the customer service is brainwashed to rip everyone off.

Comcast appeared to be the least expensive option in my area but many times service is so slow I can't stream movies which is bad for me since I don't have cable. Considering switching to FIOS.
