Overall service was OK, but we had problems with their customer service. There was occasional outages but generally not more than a day or two. Not good for the college students in the home. We paid the internet but had renters in the house and TDS wouldn't dispatch repairs unless they heard from us. Our big complaint is that we signed up for a 3 year internet only package and now that it's ended our bill went from $45 to $121 with no notice. They are advertising similar pricing, but it's not offered to current customers unless we sign up for more services we don't need or want to pay for. We are likely going to shop and drop TDS. While in office staff was nice, their phone sales staff, likely a call center, was awful!

I have called multiple times because my wifi drops to a speed I cannot even stream a movie on Netflix. I have called multiple times and they throttle my wifi for an hour at high soeeds. Then shortly after they drop down significantly until I call again. I have called 4 times just this week and many times before about this issue

Sorry, I have not experienced anything positive with Century Link. I have made monthly calls to them to try and get what they promised and get to spend several hours on the phone and go thru several people and it still doesn't fix my bill. The speed is nowhere near what they say. I am told my bill is one thing and get a verification code only to find out from the next person that it doesn't say that in the notes. Very frustrating. I just want honest service and correct bills.

Charter was bought by Baja who was bought by TDS. In this time, the prices have jumped drastically. They also now charge for modem rentals. I went with cable internet because in Texas it is the best besides fiberoptics. Here I cannot tell the difference in cable vs CenturyLink on the speed. The service of Century Link was terrible. They look for any reason to charge you and are much ruder on the phone. TDS was super nice, but they can't get better pricing for the much lower advertised speed.

Fast speeds at the promotional price. Retail pricing is too expensive. Overall they have been quick to answer and relatively helpful when I had issues.
