Spectrum provides internet, mobile, TV, and voice services. From time to time, you can get a good deal on any one of these services or when you bundle them together. Right now, new customers can get a good deal on Spectrum Internet® for one to three years, depending on the other services they pair with the internet plan they choose.

Here are a few other deals you can get right now:

  • Get top streaming services on the house with Spectrum TV® Select.
  • Get the Xumo Stream Box when you sign up for Spectrum TV.

Spectrum offers four internet plans total, but the three listed above are the only ones offered nationwide. All three have great discounted pricing for the first year, which includes a cable modem or fiber ONT—and Spectrum Advanced WiFi if you get the Gig plan. Many competing internet providers charge you extra for both.

Right now, customers can get Spectrum Internet Premier and one Spectrum Mobile Unlimited line for as low as $50 per month for one year. After that, standard rates apply to both services.

Keep in mind the added fees

While you get a great discount for the first year, expect to pay a little more if you want whole-home WiFi. The self-install kit is the best way to get started if you already have cable or fiber internet—the pro install sets you back $60 if not. Be sure to read our Spectrum Internet review for more information about fees.

You get a discount on internet when you bundle it with Spectrum TV, Spectrum Mobile, or both. The discount length and price depend on the number of services you bundle: two years with two services and three years with all three. For example, Internet Premier costs $30 per month for two years when you bundle it with two Unlimited mobile lines.

Some TV plans include extra perks

Spectrum TV Select includes a handful of streaming services at no extra cost. How many you get squarely depends on the TV plan you choose. Here’s the full list:

  • Disney+ Basic with Ads
  • HBO Max Basic with Ads
  • ESPN+
  • Paramount+ Essential
  • ViX Premium with Ads
  • AMC+
  • Peacock Premium
  • Tennis Channel

Keep in mind the added fees

Along with the fees associated with internet service, mobile and TV services have extra fees as well. If you order Spectrum TV service, expect to pay extra for any equipment, DVR services, and premium channels you may want or need. Things to consider with Spectrum Mobile are the activation fee(s), device fee(s), and so on.

Spectrum provides two low-cost plans. The Assist plan has limited availability and requires homes to meet specific criteria to qualify. The Advantage plan is now offered nationwide and doesn’t require homes to qualify. Be sure to use our zip check tool to see if they’re available to you.

Spectrum’s “deals” for students

Spectrum advertises “affordable student internet and WiFi,” but the services are no different than what Spectrum offers all customers. Your best bet is to apply for the Spectrum Assist program to get a better discount on internet.

Other ways to save

In addition to getting a few good deals from Spectrum, there are ways to keep your bill digestible throughout the promotional period and beyond.

Can you save with Auto Pay?

As a Spectrum customer, I can find no evidence that Spectrum still gives you a $5 discount each month when you sign up for Auto Pay. You must have it enabled for mobile service anyway, so Spectrum may have discarded the discount. However, if you do sign up for Auto Pay and the payment bounces, Spectrum charges you a $25 insufficient funds fee. Ouch.

My take on the best Spectrum deals

Spectrum doesn’t have a lot of deals. New customers can get 500Mbps internet and one Unlimited line for a low price during the first year of service. They can also get internet super-cheap by bundling it with TV and/or mobile services. So, other than the bundling, nothing stands out as real deals for new and existing customers.

However, if you want TV service, Spectrum TV includes ad-based versions of Disney+, Paramount+, Max, and Peacock at no extra cost. Upgrading to the ad-free versions will cost extra, of course, but if you don’t mind the ads, the included services can save you around $36 a month.
