Independence Residential Internet Coverage
Thanks to its proximity to Kansas City, the city of Independence is part of many large service providers_ networks.
Consider Centurylink Prism, which offers fiber service to the northeastern part of the city. Neighborhoods within the service area include River Bend, Susquehanna Ridge, Lake City, and Selsa. CenturyLink also offers DSL service, and their DSL network is extremely similar to their fiber network.
Through AT&T, those in almost every main Independence neighborhood can choose fiber, DSL, or both. Some far eastern neighborhoods fall outside the service area, including Lake City and Woods Chapel.
The expansive network of Xfinity allows all of Independence to enjoy access to high-speed cable service.
The rival to Xfinity, Time Warner Cable offers high-speed cable coverage to some western neighborhoods, including Mount Washington, Fairmount, and Englewood. Coverage stops short of the Quail Creek area, although the network does extend north of the city limits beyond the Missouri River.
