Spectrum To Offer Free Hulu Access to TV Subscribers

Customers now get nine free streaming options plus cable TV channels

Santa is coming in the heat of summer for Spectrum’s TV customers! They already get free access to several streaming platforms, but soon they will get The Handmaid’s Tale, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and Predator: Killer of Killers at no extra cost.

It’s all thanks to a new deal between Spectrum and the Walt Disney Company to offer Hulu (With Ads) for free to all Spectrum TV subscribers. They’ll also get access to ESPN’s forthcoming streaming service, according to a press release from Charter, Spectrum’s parent company.

The deal also returns eight Disney channels to the Spectrum TV lineup, as follows:

  • Disney Junior
  • Disney XD
  • Freeform
  • FXX
  • FX Movie Channel
  • Nat Geo WILD
  • Nat Geo Mundo
  • BabyTV

Hulu and the new ESPN service will be added to Spectrum’s existing lineup of free streaming services sometime this summer, according to the release. Already, Spectrum TV customers enjoy the following services at no extra cost:

  • Disney+ Basic
  • ESPN+
  • VIX
  • Paramount+ Essential
  • Max Basic with Ads
  • Tennis Channel
  • Peacock Premium with Ads
  • AMC+ with Ads

Spectrum TV customers also get a free rental of a Xumo streaming box with their plan and can try Spectrum mobile for free for the first year.
