I have had Spectrum 1G service for over three years now. Spectrum service is outstanding. In the entire three years I have only experienced two interruptions that only lasted a few minutes. Last week they sent us brand new upgraded modem and router at no extra charge. I am completely satisfied with Spectrum high speed internet service.

After being with time Warner / Spectrum for 15+ years, I switched to Ziply, HUGE MISTAKE. Customer service on phone is nice, if you can connect. The automated system puts you on a loop in between paying a bill or signing up for new service. So count on at least an hour to get through. The customer service agents are nice, but the follow through on service or corrections is almost zero. Only been a customer for 5 weeks and have called at least 20 times. After they called me for a survey I told them how bad the installation was performed. They sent out some higher level people who were extremely helpful and I was informed that the fiber optic cable should not have been buried, as that specific cable is for above ground use only. This was between the street and all the way around the yard to the back of the house, maybe 150 feet. So now I am waiting for a crew to come replace the cable and run it along the homes foundation as was originally agreed to with the first installers. Today they sent me a router that I did not ask for and I have paid to send it back, they would not arrange for UPS to pick up a return with a prepaid label and I am not going around town to find a place to drop it off when the USPS will pick it up at my door for free, so I sent it by USPS and paid. I hope that my experience with this company will get better, can only say that if you are only slightly satisfied with your current cable / internet provider, stay with them. It is not worth the stress and time I have spent so far with Ziply.
