CenturyLink advertises speeds up to 20 mbps but what they don't tell you is that you'll probably only get 1 mbps. On good days I can get 7 mbps, but never ever 20. Yet they continue to charge me $75 per month and keep advertising faster internet to me. For service they have been great. I rarely have outages and it comes up quickly when there is. When we had a problem it took 3 days for a rep to come out which isn't too bad in the middle of a pandemic. I'm thankful we have Centurylink because that's our only option but I believe we can do better. The U.S. is 35th in internet speeds averages and our infrastructure needs upgrades in rural areas badly.
