Cable:

Cable provides internet speeds faster than DSL through the same cables used for cable TV.

I’ve been paying $56 per month for almost non-existent service. I plan to drop this “service” as soon as EMEPA gets the new fiber lines run. I’ve called AT&T numerous times in the past, spending at least an hour on the phone each call. Their solution is always to send me a new modem. A new modem doesn’t help if there’s no service. There has been NO attempt by AT&T to improve service to our area.

Marianna B | 11-05-2014

Metrocast internet service is relatively affordable and fast - we ordinarily stream videos or gaming on at least three devices in our household at a time with no lag time. However, our service frequently "drops" and goes out for five minutes at a time . Service techs are no help and can't seem to replicate the issue although it typically occurs several times a day.
