Yuma Residential Internet Coverage

Along the western border of Arizona, the city of Yuma is a major transportation hub for this state. It is home to Yuma International Airport, making it a commercial center of the southwestern United States. Numerous internet service providers have set up shop in this city.

Those who choose CenturyLink enjoy high-speed DSL. Coverage is available in much of western Yuma, including Steam, Laguna, and Giss Parkway. Service is unavailable in most of southeastern Arizona, although CenturyLink does offer coverage to northeastern Yuma in the areas of Fortuna Foothills and Blaisdell.

Time Warner Spectrum is widely accessible in Yuma. Coverage runs west of the Arizona border, creating a large service area. Service reaches Fisher's Landing in the north, San Luis in the south, Yuma Indian Homelands in the west, and Frontage Road in the east. The Yuma International Airport is well within the coverage area of both providers, ensuring that travelers have constant access to internet service.

Every morning I use my hot spot for my internet for my Lap top. It is really slow until I do the speed test. Once I do the test I magically get faster speeds. It is like they slow you down until you test them. Ever since I complained to them this is how it works for me Verizon SUCKS!

I never get the internet speed I am paying for. They are charging me $79.99 for supposingly a 300 mbps, but I am getting less than 100 mbps. They send technicians to check connections, but they all said I need to rent their router which is extra $5 per month to fix the speed issue. I have their modem but my own router (Netgear AC1000)

Unreliable and expensive. Additionally, any problem requires a great deal of follow-up with absolutely no concession of having done anything wrong being made by the provider.
