DSL provides internet service via phone cables and is up to ten times faster than dial-up service.

Cable:

Cable provides internet speeds faster than DSL through the same cables used for cable TV.

Satellite internet is widely available, but offers slower speeds due to a far-traveling signal.

Fiber:

Fiber relies on glass strands to relay digital code and is much faster than both DSL and cable.

Antoinette S | 03-15-2017

I joined CenturyLink with a promise of a price lock for a year that only lasted two months. I signed up for automatic withdrawals, but CenturyLink processes payments when they get ready on different days of the month. CenturyLink decided I needed to go on paperless billing and put me on it without notification. It has been one problem after another with me getting the raw end of the deal.
