Buffalo Residential Internet Coverage

Buffalo is a huge metropolitan hub in New York, serving many large businesses and residential neighborhoods. Depending on where you live and work in this city, you could choose from several different internet providers.

Verizon Fios is a key fiber internet provider in Buffalo, with coverage starting in the neighborhood of Allen and extending east to city limits. Service is available in the far northern neighborhoods of Buffalo, including Black Rock and Riverside Park.

Verizon also has a large DSL network in this area. This network covers the entirety of Buffalo, including the western neighborhoods of Squaw Island and Grant Ferry that fall outside the fiber network. Service reaches all of the central areas, like Kingsley, Babcock, and Grider.

National service provider Time Warner Cable has an expansive Buffalo network. It reaches Riverside Park in the northwest, Kensington in the northeast, Tifft in the southwest, and South Abbott in the southeast.

They’re the only choice and charge through the nose for terrible service. They don’t care because they have a complete monopoly and do whatever they want. Worst company ever

Terrible service, terrible pricing and terrible speed, very frustrating having to buy more equipment because their equipment can't provide service throughout an average size house.

I have been a loyal customer with Time Warner, but lately their rates have increased dramatically. I mentioned to them that I needed to shop around for a better rate and service and. They never encouraged me not to! Of course I believe my call went to India, and the representative really couldn't understand what I was trying to say to him, wish I could of spoke to someone in the US! Not happy with outsourcing representatives in a another country!

Time Warner Cable is great for their internet, but they are very pricy. Sometimes they like to charge more money without telling you first, so your bills will be more expensive sometimes. I have called a bunch of times to get it lowered and they are good about doing that!
