Murrieta Residential Internet Coverage

The residents of Murrieta enjoy being next to both Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park and Palomar Mountain, as well as being a short distance from the shore. Given the location of the town and the large population above 100,000 residents, many neighborhoods and communities have access to internet providers with cable, fiber optics or DSL service.

Frontier Communications offers home fiber optics, with advertised speeds up to 100 Mbps. They span coverage from communities bordering Wildomar to those bordering Temecula. Only certain communities near the Wilderness Park won't have access to this service.

Also, offering DSL internet, Frontier Communications only offers this to neighborhoods near Temecula. However, DSL only offers residents with 15 Mbps of internet download speeds.

Most of the residents throughout the town of Murrieta, California can also get Time Warner Cable Spectrum. Boasting speeds up to 300 Mbps, this is the fastest internet speeds available in neighborhoods.

HughesNet also services satellite internet to anyone with access to the sky on the southern end of their roof. They have advertised download speeds around 15 Mbps, but may reliably accurate if weather conditions are rough outside.

New, affluent residents are moving into the medium size city of Murrieta. The cost of houses in the area are among the highest in the country. Residents are a mix of blue- and white-collar with careers in sales and management roles. They tend to be well-educated and upper-middle income. It's also a diverse area with 27% of residents of Hispanic or Latino origin. 100% of Murrieta have access to high-speed internet, compared with 94% of California.

Cable internet from Time Warner Spectrum reaches 99% of the community. Frontier offers fiber optics to 97% of homes and DSL to 31% of residents south of Scott Rd. In that same area, New Edge Networks offers copper wire and DSL to 2% and 1% of residents respectively.

Businesses in Murrieta can add copper wire and DSL from Megapath to the list of available services.

I've been using Frontier (Verizon) Fiber services for over 10 years and I'm extremely happy with their services. I haven't experienced any major outages. I have over 50 devices connected, most via WiFi, and still get very fast downloads/uploads. I do think that the MRC could be a little better since fiber competitors like Google, AT&T are about $20/month cheaper I'm using my own Palo Alto Firewall so traffic can be monitored/reviewed if necessary.

Constantly rebooting system. Very poor speed especially paying top dollar for fibre optic network. Frontier kept me completely shutdown because one of their optic cables broke. Frontier never bothered to find out what they did. I was unable to use my phone at home and resorted to go to a McDonalds to call their service. Even then they had no clue until they finally saw whole neighborhoods shut down. Never gave me any refund for being offline for 2 weeks! Not a good outfit to deal with. All they want is to grab money ASAP.

I called and wanted to get an internet service only, I’ve encountered the worst customer service in my life. This sales rep gathered all my information her reason was so she can give me the best deal, little did I know that she’s already ordering the bundle without my approval and then transferred mento another person. No confirmation number, or any other explanation, we got disconnected. I called back and cancelled the whole thing. Spectrum needs to train their people, Spectrum need a better system in sales and dealing with customers. If I can give a zero star, I would.
