Fremont Residential Internet Coverage

With a wide variety of residential neighborhoods, business complexes, and shopping areas, the city of Fremont depends on reliable internet.

Provider AT&T has started to install fiber in parts of Fremont, and fiber coverage may continue to grow. AT&T DSL is offered in almost every part of Fremont.

Similarly, Xfinity brings high-speed cable internet to almost all of Fremont. Neighborhoods in this expansive service area include Niles, Brookvale, Cherry-Guardino, and the downtown area in the north. In the central part of the city, service is available in Irvington, Cameron Hills, Grimmer, and Mission San Jose. Southern communities include Weibel and Mission Hills.

Quite a few major Fremont neighborhoods have access to Sonic.net DSL. Covered neighborhoods include Ardenwood in the northwest and Canyon Heights in the northeast. Through New Edge Networks, customers in Cabrillo, Centerville, Glenmoor, and 28 Palms can get high-speed service. Other neighborhoods in this service area include Badlands, East Industrial, and Warm Springs.

AT&T Uverse's internet never really caused any troubles. If all three members of my family are using the internet, it sometimes does get really slow. But most of the time internet is fairly speedy.

I have ATT since I moved here and they have not yet lower the fee but higher now. Takes long time to call the tech support. More expensive then Verizon or Infinity. I only get it because My apt doesn't have other isp
