Columbia Residential Internet Coverage

The city of Columbia in South Carolina serves millions of residents, tourists, and employees, which is why reliable internet service is so crucial.

Those who prefer the reliability of DSL can choose AT&T, a provider with a large service area that reaches almost all of Columbia. Northern communities in this city are Forest Hills, Heathwood, and Arcadia Lakes. Southern communities include Springdale and St. Andrews. Time Warner Cable, known for its national coverage map, offers high-speed cable to all of Columbia.

In addition to the neighborhoods listed above, Time Warner Cable is available in Melrose Heights, Shandon, Seven Oaks, and Forest Acres.

The university community of Columbia is covered by both Time Warner Cable and AT&T, ensuring that students and professionals have high-speed internet options. As AT&T starts to develop its fiber network, highly populated parts of Columbia may be first to get fiber installed.

While the Internet speeds were good their prices were ridiculous. How does the bill increase $60.00 within 3 years. I had to leave and find something more reasonable with great Internet speeds.

Disconnect Spectrum as price kept increasing, but quality absolutely did not. Upon returning the modem and router, They told me I owe them a cable box even though we never had cable TV. They checked my payment records and saw that for all that time I’d never been charged for or paid for cable TV. But they still say I owe them a cable-tv box. Eventually I’ll end up having to pay for a cable box I NEVER HAD. Spectrum has internet that buffers more often than a bottle of Bayer Aspirin.

The speed of AT&T DSL is lacking, especially considering the cost. I get 6MB which is nowhere near fast enough without going business class. It should be much faster.
