Peoria Residential Internet Coverage

The city of Peoria, centrally located near many major metropolitan areas of Arizona, has many large national and local internet service providers.

Centurylink Prism has a limited but growing fiber network in this city, available in certain border neighborhoods. Service is not widely available in the central part of Peoria.

DSL service, provided by CenturyLink, is much more widely available in this city, reaching the southern edge of the city in Wintergreen Estates.

Zona Communications is available in parts of northern Peoria, primarily areas north of Deer Valley Road and west of 99th Avenue.

On the other hand, the service area of Ygnition Networks is largely limited to the southern part of Peoria, reaching as far south as West Olive Avenue. Service is not provided extensively beyond the southeastern corner of Peoria.

Level 3 Communications provides service in select neighborhoods, primarily those in the southern part of the city.

Last but certainly not least, all of Peoria has access to internet via DSL, copper wireline, or both via Megapath.

Internet Speed Test - about 200 on download and 27 on upload - my plan is 500mbps download and 50 mbps upload - COX is the worse worse worse internet service provider and we are stuck with this awful greedy horrible ISP and yes they continually charge more and more for the worse customer service the worse internet speed in the Peoria area. I can't even afford cable with this horrible company.

The internet is good when you are connected but unfortunately is dropping all the time. On the first two weeks after I accepted their internet it was very good . Now is suck. I have called customer service many times but they can't do anything about it . They told me that is to many people on network using the internet. He told me to cancel if I don't like it . So I will.

Cox Statement said 30Mbps, test shows 26.7 Mbps. pricing is to high , and I get frequent raises, then I have to write letters to the Main HQ. when I talk to a Rep. they have the same answer, price raises every year, and he answer very annoying; You should know when the year is over, write down. Sad to say I asked for a prior explanation as to when the price changes, never happens.
