What is the best internet provider in Metairie?

Metairie Residential Internet Coverage

Metairie is one of the largest communities in Louisiana, located just north of New Orleans along Lake Pontchartrain. Several national internet service providers bring their large networks to this city.

AT&T has a significant presence in Metairie and other Louisiana cities, providing consistent DSL coverage to the entire city. From Airline Drive in the west to Shrewsbury in the east, high-speed DSL is accessible. The fiber network is slightly smaller, which can change as AT&T builds it out in coming years.

Through Megapath, much of Metairie has access to internet at different speeds and prices. West of Lake Avenue, the entire city of Metairie has coverage. Quite a bit of the eastern part of the city also has access to the Megapath network, excluding a small area near City Park and Bucktown. Coverage resumes in the Bonnabel place area.

Finally, Charter has a small but growing cable network in the Metairie area, as well.

Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Metairie

AT&T Customer

I think that AT&T Uverse internet is overpriced. They start you out at a low introductory rate and then raise it a year later.

AT&T Customer

I switched from AT&T Internet to AT&T Uverse about a year ago. Uverse is much faster than my old service. Glad I made the switch.
