In the western part of the Lower Peninsula, the city of Grand Rapids is one of the largest in the entire state of Michigan. AT&T is one of the most expansive Internet service providers in this city, offering DSL, fiber Internet, or both to every Grand Rapids neighborhood. The service area reaches Creston in the north, Millbrook in the south, Westside Connection in the west, and Michigan Oaks in the east. Windstream has a competitive service area in Grand Rapids, reaching well beyond the city limits in all four directions. Similarly, XFINITY cable is available throughout Grand Rapids. Covered neighborhoods include Heartside, Heritage Hill, and South Hill in the central area. The Charter network is a bit more limited in Grand Rapids, reaching the far western communities of Cherry Run and West Grand. In the south, parts of Millbrook and Garfield Park have access to Charter Internet. Customers of Eaglenet are everywhere in Grand Rapids, thanks to the company’s network that spans the entire city of Grand Rapids. Internet provider ACD.net covers most major parts of Grand Rapids, with coverage stopping short of the city limits in the north and south.
Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Grand Rapids
AT&T Uverse has an excellent amount of high quality channels. They have a lot of free shows and movie in their OnDemand section, which I love. I like the fact that I can bundle my cable, internet and phone service together; it's very convenient for my family. I think the cost of the services is a little high, but overall the service is quite good and worth the extra cost.
