Cable:

Cable provides internet speeds faster than DSL through the same cables used for cable TV.

Satellite internet is widely available, but offers slower speeds due to a far-traveling signal.

Fiber:

Fiber relies on glass strands to relay digital code and is much faster than both DSL and cable.

This service is so unreliable! Every other week our internet is down. Now it's been 3 day and it still isn't working. Terrible! Do not use them!

We have been with LTD for about 8 months and it has been a roller coaster ride with internet speeds. The tech guys have helped as much as they are able but the problem seems to lie with too many subscribers for the band with offered in our area. Also there is always 'a tower in the line that is having transmission problems passing adequate signal onward'. At times no signal is available and each transmission problem must be reported and documented if you wish to receive credit...which is a pittance. Our area has limited unlimited usage offerings but we are actively looking to switch. We can see our tower from our house so we thought good service would be assured. If the company does not get adequate signal to the tower for all, then our service is less than we pay for...that describes LTDs offering. I CAN NOT recommend LTD Broadband!
