ATT installed Fiber internet at my home last spring. It's been perfect since the install appointment went so smoothly. I got the gigabit speed, which is 1000Mbps download AND upload. That is blazing fast. They offer speeds up to 5,000Mbps. Fiber internet is the current state of the art. If ATT offers it in your neigborhood, grab it.

I've had AT&T internet and Uverse video since 2007. It's always been reliable but the internet speed was a bit slow by today's standards, until two months ago. AT&T began offering Fiber internet connections in my neighborhood then. I was one of the first to sign up and the whole install and use experience has been first rate. My speed went from 50Mbps download and 6Mbps upload before fiber, to 1,000Mbps download and 1000Mbps upload with their fiber. That difference is very noticable in everything I do on the internet. Downloading an IOS update for my iphone used to take 25 minutes before fiber. Now it takes 30 seconds. With the bundle discounts AT&T offers, my internet costs me the same as my much slower connection did.

Absolutely trash. I moved into an newly built apartment complex where At&t signed a contract OVER A YEAR AGO, complying to provide internet service by the time of move-in and they have failed to do so. The wireless wifi (not modem or router) is absolutely awful. Nothing loads on the tv, cellphone, or laptop, and you can’t watch anything on TV without it lagging or awful resolution quality. Extremely dissatisfied.
