Alamo Residential Internet Coverage

Running along Interstate 680, you'll find the city of Alamo in California. It's bordered by Las Trampas Regional Wilderness on one side and Mount Diablo on the other side. Internet service providers in this region must meet the demands and challenges of these restrictions.

Through AT&T, the entire city of Alamo enjoys access to high speed Internet. This company offers both fiber optic service and DSL service.

Another company with a huge network in the Alamo area is Xfinity. This network reaches Danville and Livorna from west to east, extending north to Walnut Creek and south to San Ramon. The network expands to neighboring communities and cities.

Astound Broadband has a sizable network in Alamo, although it is smaller than both the AT&T and Xfinity networks. Service reaches all of northern Alamo and stops short of the southern border. Coverage spans the entire west-east run of the city.

This is the worst ISP I have ever had. They are down 50% of the time and then they argue with you when you call up to request a credit. Then the credit never shows up on the bill and you have to call them back to try and get it added and then they will say they never agreed to it. Do not use them if you can avoid it. I am using a Chrome Extension to monitor and log their performamce from here on out and plan to call them every month and demand a refund for the down time and if they don't give any credit, I am going to report them to the FTC
