Cable:

Cable provides internet speeds faster than DSL through the same cables used for cable TV.

When SuddenLink works its a fine ISP. The problem is about 1-2x per month the service will just "stop" for several hours. The bigger pain point (IMO) though is they seem to have a protectionist policy to keep other ISPs out of their territory so that they don't have to improve their issues. If you have an option, stay away... the problem is you usually don't have an option.

You cannot speak to a human being unless youā€™re upgrading service! They snuck a $20 additional charge for additional speed that I did not request and no one will contact me back! Avoid at all cost
